The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal

We have just returned from another perfect stay here at the ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi. This was our 4th time visiting and every single stay is incredible. We anticipated the hotel and facilities would be busier than we have previously experienced (we usually come between June-September), however you wouldn’t notice this. The staff are incredible and work so hard to provide impeccable service. We stayed on the HB package again and visited all restaurants and buffet and every meal was delicious. The pool guys are all fabulous and they even remembered us from our previous stays. They work so incredibly hard in the sun and really make our stay. Thank you all and we will be returning next year and can’t wait to see you all again. Thank you Room 2501 Taylor

Saturday 10:30am arrival after overnight flight, hotel beforehand gave us access to facilities and club lounge if (2) rooms weren’t ready relieving stress of early arrival. As soon as we saw bellman place luggage in cart and then cover the entire cart before we got out of taxi, we knew the excellent service had begun. 3 nights stay we wanted 2 rooms close together since the resort is big, one room ready on arrival and front desk told us key for 2nd room could be picked up at club lounge later saving us a trip to reception. Rooms look similar Ritz properties in US, hotel was extremely clean, both rooms had Grand Mosque views which we liked as the club lounge has a pool view. Hotel has 2 times per day housekeeping and staff is excellent, the evening turndown is full housekeeping service with everything replaced. We received huge chocolate welcome gifts during first night’s turndown. The main pool is biggest I’ve seen, and you will always find seating, the attendants are very attentive and friendly. The adult pool was surprisingly large, try the beach too. Club lounge is an oasis, everything included full breakfasts lunch and dinner plus drinks served all day. The lounge chefs that prepare made to order dishes make great food. The club staff remembered everyone’s name and what you drink. I asked and was informed that lounge staff tips are shared which made it easier to take care of them. Dinner at Forge we got to sit outside food was very good, really wanted to try buffet at Giornotte but the club lounge food was so filling it would have been too much. We took taxi’s everywhere as they are very reasonable. I asked and received 2:30pm check out. The Ritz Carlton Grand Canal is a true 5 star resort the luxury and service here make U.S. 5-star properties 4 star. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone.

Fantastic hotel from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Visited all restaurants using our HB option. Special mention to Saber and Allam at Mijani the Lebanese restaurant. We visited twice and they couldn’t have been friendlier or more welcoming. We also visited both the Forge steak restaurant twice and Li Jiang twice. Amazing menu options and again the staff couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. Thank you to the staff at the Forge for making my husbands birthday so special. The facilities are great - well equipped gym, large pool with ample sun beds. We will definitely visit again

My husband and I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi from Friday, April 18th to Sunday, April 20th while visiting the city for a friend’s wedding, and our experience incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The service was warm, attentive, and professional—from the entrance all the way through to check-out. We were lucky to stay in one of the best suites, which was stunning. The room was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each morning; the selection was excellent. I also took advantage of the gym, which was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a good workout. The entire property is breathtaking, and we truly appreciated the peaceful, luxurious setting. We found ourselves wishing our children were there with us to enjoy it too—this resort is family-friendly, and we’re already looking forward to coming back with them next time. Highly recommended for a relaxing, five-star experience in Abu Dhabi.

What an amazing experience for our 25th Wedding anniversary. We were made to feel so special. The position of the hotel is fantastic, a short distance to all the attractions. We chose the Club rooms which gave access to the lounge. I think the timings of service perhaps should be a little clearer. The attention to detail for the service is second to none. All of the staff are amazing, well trained, attentive but if we had to name a few, for us, it would be Prabhu, Gold, Jana, Sabine however, the others were fantastic too. All of the guys at the pool were brilliant, nothing is ever too much trouble, particularly Antony & Babu ( not got his full name). I couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough because although we had a couple of minor issues, they were sorted with minimal fuss and professionalism
