About the Hotel
Nestled between a pristine 1-kilometre-long private beach and lush gardens, the hotel is situated ten minutes drive from the city's international airport, five minutes from the golf course and the new Convention Centre and 15 minutes from the Corniche and the city centre. Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, features 213 luxurious rooms and suites, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. Relaxed luxury with the highest guest service
This has to be the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in anywhere. Throughout our 10 day stay, we have enjoyed the highest level of service. It seems wrong to single out any individual for mention as every member of staff are as friendly, helpful and professional as you could wish for. The rooms are serviced twice a day and nothing is missed with some added touches such as towel decorations on the bed which is lovely. The food buffets are amazing with such a selection to suit all tastes. The Christmas decorations are spectacular and certainly add a festive spirit. Thank you to all the staff and management (good service stems from the leadership team) for a wonderful stay. We are already looking at returning next year.

Lounge experience
I would like to especially thank the Horizon Team (Jane,Madhuri, Pooch and their team) in the lounge. I highly recommend adding this package when staying at this hotel. The lounge offers breakfast in a calm and relaxed atmosphere, as well as coffee and tea during the day. In the evening, an aperitif is also available. I felt very comfortable there. Regarding the hotel itself, I missed having coffee and tea facilities in the room. The pool bar staff were very friendly, but compared to other hotels, they were not particularly attentive.. this may have been due to the fact that they had to move equipment, so I do not wish to hold this against them
