My family and I are absolutely delighted with the outstanding service provided by Kavinu, Dhan, and Amir. They were warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our experience special. The drinks were exceptional—perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Thank you so much to the entire team at Pool and Bar Restaurant for such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back! We had our buffet also at Sofra! The experience here at Shangri-La is superb!

I decided to go for dinner with my friend, and we absolutely loved the place. The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We especially want to mention the pool bar staff — Afsar, Abdullah, and Kavindu. They were always smiling, checking on us, offering help, clearing the table, and making sure we were comfortable. Their politeness and attention truly made our evening special. Also during dinner, we asked to change the sauce for the fish, and the chef personally came to our table to confirm exactly which sauce we preferred. That attention and kindness really impressed us. The food was amazing as well. We had the chicken and the sea bream, and everything was served perfectly — even the plates were warm. The flavors were delicious: juicy, fresh, and slightly smoked. We really enjoyed every bite. Also the skipper Rahim, who works there, was very kind, helpful. That meant a lot to us. Overall, the place is wonderful, the service is excellent, and the kindness of the staff made everything unforgettable. We truly enjoyed our evening and would definitely love to come back again. Thank you to everyone for such a lovely experience!

We are a group of friends who don’t see each other as often as we would like so always make sure we prioritise our annual reunion trip to Abu Dhabi and after first staying at the Shangri La in 2017 there is nowhere else we would now consider staying. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, facilities are beautiful, the breakfast is excellent with a wide choice and we enjoy the option of the Horizon Club. Staff are so attentive and kind and every year have helped make our trips so memorable. The hotel is an easy taxi ride from the airport and from Yas Marina so travel and going out is easy. We like the location of the hotel as it’s a bit quieter and calmer with a beautiful view of the Mosque and sunset from the balconies.
