The Hotel La Villa Gallici welcomes you to an elegant 18th century residence. This 5-star Relais & Châteaux hotel offers top-of-the-range facilities combined with service bordering on excellence. The country home opens out on to a garden filled with the sweet fragrances of Provence, with cypress trees sheltering the outdoor swimming pool. On the patio, the plane trees offer welcoming shade when the restaurant's dining room is dressed in its most beautiful finery.

We (my wife and I) just recently stayed at Villa Gallici in Aix-en-Provence. We have stayed at several other Relais-et-Chateau properties, and have always enjoyed our stays there. Villa Gallici is lovely, and very nice, but unfortunately I can only give it 4 stars, not 5, as I had expected I would. The hotel itself is lovely, and the furnishings and decorations are lovely. Really picturesque, and also quiet and calming. There are plenty of staff, and almost all of them are 5 star in terms of friendliness and helpfulness. However, we found the service at breakfast and dinner to be very much lacking (very slow), and not to the expectations for the price they charge at the hotel. And the "afternoon tea" was really not a tea at all. It was an opportunity to try and sell us wine or champagne, and food, and even when we did place an order, it literally took almost an hour to have the food on our table! Quite disappointing, actually. Still a lovely hotel, but the cost was/is prohibitive (and that's comparing to other very nice hotels we stay at in other high touristed areas).

What a truly magical experience! The entire staff was superb, extremely courteous and helpful. We had the pleasure of indulging in some delightful spa treatments and Camille was perfection with her exquisite touch. At the front desk, Sos was readily helpful and gracious. Matthieu was an exceptional concierge and instrumental in helping us plan our ascent to the Croix de Provence. And as the Head of Guest Relations, Michel’s exuberance was energizing and infectious. We look forward to the next time we can immerse ourselves in the splendor of Villa Gallci!

Breakfast here was terrific. The waiter, Michel, was high energy and friendly, which made the experience better. We will be coming back!

We had an incredible experience at Villa Gallici in Aix-en-Provence as part of our 30th wedding anniversary celebration. We simply cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel and its exceptional staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay absolutely perfect. The property itself is magical—elegant, serene, and truly transportive. It feels like stepping into another time and place, where every detail is designed to create a sense of quiet luxury and timeless charm. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. A special thank you to the front desk and the concierge team, who were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They answered every question with care and helped us plan a remarkable walking tour through Cézanne’s mountains with Elodie from Zen Road. It was one of the highlights of our trip—a peaceful, meaningful way to experience the Provence countryside through the lens of Cézanne’s art. We highly recommend this tour as well. We feel very fortunate to have spent time at Hotel Villa Gallici and can only hope to return someday. It was, without a doubt, a magical experience and the perfect way to celebrate such a special occasion.

I've enjoyed many five star hotels over the years, but this one stands out as the best overall. The accommodation was spacious, having a separate bedroom, living area, sun room, bath, as well as a canopy covered patio. Each area was beautifully decorated. Despite the historical nature of the Villa, everything was well maintained. The service was amazing, with three refresh visits per day. Each evening the turn down service included rose pedals laid across the bed and pillows. Water bottles and glasses were set by the bedside and a candle was lit on the vanity in the bathroom. Assorted miniature candies and cookies were provided each day along with a gourmet coffee service. The restaurant was situated above the pool area and shaded by immense trees. The entrees we enjoyed on our first night exceeded all expectations. Three very well prepared courses with several "pre appetizer" surprises. Room service was also outstanding. The wait time for delivery or pickup was always less than ten minutes! I've never seen this level of attention and care. All in all we loved our four day stay.
