Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi

We chose this hotel for our Anniversary stay and we made the best decision possible. From the moment we were dropped off at the hotel, they took care of all our needs. Alfonso, who assisted with our luggages and shuttles into and out of the city centre welcomed us every day with kindness and a smile. We would like to give full recognition to Daniela with reception. The seas were very rough on the day of our check in, which caused us to have to shuffle some plans around and we arrived to the hotel several hours early. Daniela took care of us from the very beginning - she provided us with alternatives re: activities, dining recommendations, etc. She was also able to get us an upgrade on the room and checked us into the room early! On top of this, she arranged for a bottle of spumante to be delivered to the room for our anniversary celebration. She truly went above and beyond and we’d like to thank her for her attentiveness and kindness. Also special thank you to everyone at the reception desk who helped with logistics planning (bus, ferry times, etc), breakfast boxes, luggage & shuttles on day of check out, etc. Everybody that worked at the restaurants on property and at the pool as well were all so welcoming and friendly, you made us feel at home. You truly helped us with everything that we needed and made the stay a perfect and memorable 1st anniversary. We are still thinking about it and we will be back for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being overbearing, always ready to help with a smile.

We visited Anantara Amalfi during the last week of August and stayed for 5 nights with our two children. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very spacious, providing a comfortable stay for the whole family. The food was a real highlight – both breakfast and dinner were among the best we’ve had anywhere. The infinity pool overlooking the Amalfi Coast is simply breathtaking, and the staff were warm, professional, and always attentive. Everything felt fresh, stylish, and perfectly thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and truly believe this is one of the best hotels in the area. Highly recommended!

Best trip of our lives! It’s our second time at the hotel and keeps getting better. Diego at Del Cappucini is the best. Antonella has been so great at helping plan our wedding here. Couldn’t recommend this place more. If you are looking at traveling in Amalfi, this place is a must.

Our stay here was truly unforgettable. The hotel it’s self is breathtaking, a former 13th century monastery perched high above the Amalfi coast, the views here were just magical. Every corner of the hotel carries history and serenity yet offers such a warm and welcoming atmosphere thanks to the lovely staff. We would also highly recommend the private beach club for the day. The staff made our stay especially meaningful during one of the most important days of our lives, assisting with the most perfect marriage proposal on the terrace during the private dining experience. The location, the food, the service were nothing short of perfect and we are so extremely grateful. Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel enough if you are looking for a peaceful, luxurious stay on the Amalfi coast. We will treasure these memories forever. Many thanks, Mr Helyer & Miss Jones.
