Amazing Wedding day experience!!!!

my husband and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding! The service, food, and people are top notch and made sure we had everything we needed for our big day! they truly went above and beyond and we’re very accommodating. I’d like to shout out a few people that stood out to us! Laurel was very courteous and kind enough to make sure our check in went smoothly and was there to answer any questions we had! as well as Adam helping us with our luggage, was very personable! Jeff was our server at Salt, and the food was absolutely top tier! Phil made sure our dining experience was one to remember and we will never forget how he went above and beyond for us. Huy from Valet was also very kind and courteous. I can not thank the Ritz team enough for their generosity and making our day one we will cherish forever! We will be back for sure!

Excellent Stay for Families with Young Children

This was our first trip with our baby, and it was better than we had imagined. They were so accommodating and we felt welcomed at all venues of this beautiful hotel. Kristi Dickinson in Guest Relations exemplifies what Ritz Carlton's service should be, and the hotel is lucky to have such excellent staff like Kristi. We can't wait to return!

The Ritz on Amelia Island is excellent, but not the best Ritz we’ve experienced. There are great restaurants and shopping, but the valet is terrible. We waited over half an hour to get our vehicle and other guests were extremely rude to us when we politely inquired how much longer it would be.

Having stayed at a few Ritz properties since Covid that were disappointing, we were getting worried about the brand. My loyalty has been renewed thanks to the team and experience at the Ritz Amelia Island. The property is amazing, with plenty to do. The retail selection is superb. The concierge team was very thorough and provided many onsite and offsite dining options. The food at all the onsite restaurants was 5 stars. Despite it being an extremely busy holiday weekend, the staff was cheerful and we had very good service. The housekeeping and turndown service was perfect. The little “ritz “ touches such as kids activities, and special surprises around the property were noticed. Clearly the leadership at this property is aligned with what a Ritz brand should deliver because it exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to a return stay!

Nice Resort - Filthy Room

Recently moved to Ponte Vedra Beach from NJ and have heard many of my neighbors talking about Amelia Island. I was in need of a quick getaway to mentally reset and chose this hotel. As a Bonvoy member I did get an upgrade from a coastal view to ocean view on a high floor which was a nice surprise. I arrived early and received a phone call when my room was ready. The minute I walked in the smell overwhelmed me. It smelled like a wet dog - just really gross. I flagged down a housekeeper and asked for some air freshener, which they said they didn't have. So, I went to the front desk and asked for some air freshener because the room smelled terrible. They apologized and said they would send someone up right away. Nobody ever came. So - I decided to try to clean at least the hard surface flooring myself with a soapy washcloth. Well, as you can see in the posted pics, the floor was FILTHY. I was seriously grossed out. The housekeepers don't have mops or vacuums so not sure how the rooms are actually cleaned especially when there is carpet. This room (845) is well worn. I was disappointed. However - the rest of the hotel was nice and service was really great! I did use the gym and in the middle of the afternoon it was like a sauna. I know they just redid it so they probably need to tweak a few things (A/C). Overall my visit was good, but cleanliness of the room was a real disappointment. Not at all the caliber expected.
