Fabulous hotel living up to and even exceeding their reputation of being high class with exquisite service. It already starts outside when you’re welcomed by the doorman. Then you enter the serenity of the lobby where the check in is as smooth and welcoming as it can be. A refreshing towel was offered and chocolate made by the hotels patisserie team. A delicious start! On to the stunning rooms, what a view from the Panoramic Room. A more than lush and comfortable bed. This hotel has top notch restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the complimentary lounge on the 22nd floor to unwind and the breakfast next morning served in La Camelia to kickstart our day. Thank you Louis, Maria and colleagues for a wonderful stay. You all went above and beyond and we’ll definitely be back!

Exceptional Stay with 8-month old baby

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We had an exceptional stay for a short getaway to Amsterdam with our 8-month old baby. From check-in, Dominique ensured we were welcomed warmly and showed knowledge by recommending local restaurants for dinner. The room was very well apointed and amenities were great, and the little one was well taken care of with his own soaps and other amenities, they even left a list of other items for the baby that could be requested through Housekeeping, including bottle steriliser, changing mat, baby bath or rubber bath mat. The breakfast offering is varied, with lots of different items to choose from, including Japanese, English and Continental sections. A variety of eggs choices can be ordered a la carte and the waitress even offered to mash a banana for our boy. A visit to the pool will always be in our fondest memories, since this was our son's first swim. Throughout the hotel, cleaniness is second to none and cannot be faulted. Little touches like tying our phone charging cables neatly was not something we had seen before in hotels and shows dedication and attention to detail. Overall one of the best hotel stays we have ever had.

Perfect Hotel in Amsterdam

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, this is a really good stop for the night. It is situated on a lazy, quiet canal and on a nice day the terrace restaurant is perfect. The rooms are large and very clean, I liked the concierge who set up a private boat trip on the canal. The boat came to a small dock right by the hotel and our 2 hour tour was perfect. He met us in the lobby and walked up to the dock and onto the boat. The buffet breakfast was very good and something I have never seen before was organic honey dripping off the cone and into a bowl. Very different! I’m not sure I would get the buffet if it wasn’t included with the room as it was pricey (40€). It was a perfect visit except the bathroom was encased entirely of marble and it was so slick and scary. It needed a mat with rubber backing and a grab bar in the shower. I felt like I was on ice!!! Quiet, soothing and tasteful, I will stay there again.

They made a problem into a great trip fir the 4 nights I was there

This is the first review I have done in a long while and I am overdue. I stayed here recently and to be honest things didn’t start out well. No AC. The professionals at the hotel dealt with this with grace and class and once resolved my stay was flawless. I can’t say enough about their excellent, timely and no excuses response to a situation clearly beyond their control. I will stay here again in the very near future and give this theological 6 stars on a rating of 5. Stay with confidence here.
