Very nice hotel, good location, the spa is great after a workday

Lovely hotel away from the hustle/ busy side of central Amsterdam but easy to get into Dam central & airport. Tram line 4 & 3 are the nearest stop to hotel to get into the central areas - tram ticket 24hrs is €10 or tap & go. 10mins away via Tram or 20/30mins walking into Dam Central from the hotel. Hotel itself is really nice, has a wellness area includes gym, pool, sauna & steam. Nice & clean hotel. Gorgeous rooms well the one we stayed in which was known as the loft. Customer service was FAB from start to finish - all the staff were lovey, who were very accommodating to your needs & always on hand to help. Breakfast had everything you would need. Loved our stay here & would go again for a city break A 5/10min walk away from the hotel you'll find a road with restaurants, shops & coffee shops.

We stayed for 4 days over new year and had the most wonderful stay. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. We liked the showers and the beds were so comfortable. We had fun choosing from the pillow menu. We enjoyed delicious treats left for us in the room - thank you so much. We ate breakfast each morning which we loved. The sparking wine and orange juice were such a nice touch, We enjoyed the pool/spa area and also the lounge areas. Every single touch point with the staff was positive and welcoming. Our special thanks go to Alex who very kindly managed to retrieve my son’s AirPod which fell into a tricky to reach part of the bed. Thank you for having us - we will be back!

I recently stayed at the Pestana Hotel Amsterdam and would like to extend my sincere compliments to the General Manager and the entire team for the excellent service and outstanding hospitality. From arrival to departure, the experience was exceptional. The hotel offers a high standard of comfort, quality amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes guests feel at home. The staff consistently demonstrated professionalism, genuine care, and a strong willingness to assist at all times, which truly elevated my stay. The warm hospitality and overall excellence delivered by the team reflect a well-managed property with a clear focus on guest satisfaction. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the Pestana Hotel Amsterdam to both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort, service excellence, and friendly, attentive staff. This is a great hotel. Although not central location, it’s a perfect place to be based to relax after a busy day in the centre. We walked to the centre each day and had an uber back (16 euros) Our room (superior double) was spacious, well designed and above all super clean (well done to housekeeping). The breakfast options are almost everything you need. Hot choices from scrambled eggs, beans, sausages, bacon, pancakes and vegetation option. Fruit, pastries, smoothies, yogurts, cheese, meats and salads. The orange juice is delicious and you can have a cheeky glass of Prosecco if you wish to. You won’t go hungry. For me though I felt that for a 5* there should be the option of having eggs cooked to order. There is a menu with cooked breakfast dishes (Benedict), although it’s charged. The toaster requires an upgrade ;) Spa is lovely for an hour and the bar has a cozy relaxed feel and delicious cocktails. Friendly staff, beautiful hotel, tasty breakfast and super clean - I recommend a stay here.
