Wonderful hotel. The staff were so professional, friendly, kind and helpful all the way through from the porters to the managers. Everytime we asked for help, they responded with a smile. Rooms were lovely, food was delicious. Highly recommended!

The Pestana is a quite nice hotel within walking distance of the old town. One note also: the F&B Manager, Filipe, was partially helpful on my first breakfast with the new coffee machines, unfamiliar breakfast foods, and collecting items my wife could eat (uncommon dietary restrictions) and even carrying my tray back to the elevators — all with a wonderful and humorous personality. One very pleasant experience all travelers wish for.

This hotel is great for families - they were welcoming to the kids, had a nice pool with kid-friendly hours so I felt less guilty about the noise, the breakfast was lovely, and the staff was very responsive. Lotus at the concierge desk really helped us over several days figure out how to navigate King’s Day and the city. The hotel seems to cater to families and people launching from river cruises - which worked very well for us. It’s a bit outside the center, but easy to navigate on transit and located in a lovely neighborhood.

First time in Amsterdam and this hotel was amazing! The breakfast was first class as was the staff! The beds were very comfortable and the location was great for getting around. The concierge was so helpful and very willing to help with any concerns we had or any of the many questions!

Overall this a good hotel in a good location. To be improved: Rooms are ok however a bit small but overall in good condition. The gym is small but enough however, it is mainly used by the hotel staff so if you are patient enough to let them finish their work out then you can enjoy the service. Housekeeping staff is great and really helpful. Reception staff is also helpful at least some Of them. Other may just let you deal with your questions by yourself. Attention to details and to the guests to be improved.
