Worst experience
We booked two nights at Pulitzer Amsterdam mainly because the booking mentioned a complimentary boat transfer in Amsterdam. The room had a strange smell coming from the toilet and there was noticeable noise from the upper floor. Not the level of comfort you expect from a luxury hotel. The boat transfer was “out of the water,” and instead we were offered public boats or a €500 private option. If something is advertised as included, it should be available or properly compensated. Also, the attitude of some staff felt very tip-oriented. The service seemed to change depending on whether tips were involved, which left an uncomfortable impression. Overall, disappointing experience for a hotel of this category.

Dinner, Wine and Cocktails
I stayed at the Pulitzer Amsterdam for one night and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from Dam Square. I highly recommend having dinner at Pulitzer Garden — the quality of the food was on par with the level of service. Jacopo was extremely patient and assisted me carefully with my specific wine request. A special thanks also to Daniel, whose cocktails truly elevated the overall experience. I strongly recommend this hotel. 10 out of 10.

Authentic Dutch hospitality.
Very authentic rooms and layout. Super clean , comfortable and quiet . Great location in Amsterdam. Get out and walk, walk, and walk. Look around the aesthetics are amazing. Careful for bike traffic. This city moves fluently and you must be aware that it is hard to stop a bike.
