Superb hotel in a great location. Staff could not be more helpful. Friendly and very efficient. We would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent stay at the Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam and would definitely return. The deluxe room is very spacious by Amsterdam standards and perfectly comfortable for two adults - noticeable larger than many other hotels in the city. Comfort is clearly a priority throughout: high-quality linens and towels, and a king-size bed with two separate duvets - an underrated but exceptional detail. The location is ideal: central, yet comfortable, with most major sights reachable within about 25 minutes on foot. What really stands out is the service: The staff is not only extremely polite, but also exceptionally well-trained. Everything feels smooth, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Lucia, who took the time to show us around and share fascinating historical insights about the hotel. The building itself adds character, with a rich history. You can really feel its heritage, and learning about its past added an extra layer to our stay. Breakfast is also a highlight, offering high-quality options, great variety, and tasty à la carte dishes. Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel.

The overall trip was amazing! All the staff (but especially Marta) and the whole experience made us feel comfortable and relaxed. During our stay, breakfast was included and it was a great way to start our day before we walked around the city. The daily apertivo we ensured we planned in our daily routine. We loved it so much we got engaged at our dinner at the hotel’s restaurant Omber. We are happy we get to be a very small part of the oldest hotel in Amsterdam’s history as well!

I had an incredible stay at the Tivoli! As a Black traveler, it’s always a priority to find a place that feels genuinely welcoming and inclusive, and this hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make me and my fiancé feel at home from the moment we walked in. Aside from the top-tier hospitality: • The Breakfast: Absolutely amazing. One of the best spreads I’ve had in a long time—plenty of fresh options to start the day right. • The Views: Waking up to stunning views of the city was the cherry on top. If you’re looking for a spot in Amsterdam where the vibes are right and the service is genuine, look no further. I’ll definitely be back!

It would be impossible to say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. What a welcoming experience! No wonder the Beatles stayed here. Last night we got in late and needed a sweet, the reception team helped us track down some stroopwaffel—just what we needed. Highly recommend.
