It is the best hotel Ever and has a wonderful, helpful staff. Rooms and bathrooms large and well equipped. Such a beautiful setting including pool , gardens, and restaurant. Easy access to all the sights, too. The staff is ready to assist guests 24/7.

This hotel is so tranquil. There are two separate hotels with an underground tunnel connecting them. It’s in close proximity to the vibrant chabad center and the best hotel in the entire Antigua area. Extremely clean and serene with a jungle like setting.

We used Porta Hotel as our wedding room block. From the reservation process to the day of check out, the staff was exceptional! All our guests had the kindest words about servers at the restaurant and front desk (flexible and always friendly). They even made us a wedding ribbon for the bridal car! A great hotel to show off the Guatemalan culture. They had marimba, artesanal sewing, guacamayas, and delicious traditional foods! A truly 10/10

Beds are comfortable; place is serene and beautiful. Breakfast buffet is delicious and lots to choose from. Would recommend staying here.

There are not enough words to describe how excellent this hotel is. The location; the attention and friendliness of the staff; the comfort of the rooms; the cleanliness and not to mention the delights of typical foods with exquisite flavors and their coffee is Superb. Very happy with my stay and if returning to Antigua without hesitation, I will stay at El Porta.
