A standard in glamour for more than half a century, Baumaniere les Baux de Provence, in the south of France, is legendary for its gracious elegance. The regal estate is comprised of a trio of distinctive accommodations: the 16th-century L'Oustau farmhouse, the divinely private Manoir and the 18th-century Guigou country manor. A Relais & Chateaux affiliate, the property captures the poetry of gastronomy, with a menu showcasing the ingredients of Les Baux de Provence region. Ethereal light, picturesque olive trees and an excellent wine cellar add to the allure.

L'Oustau de Baumanière is a truly transcendant experience (both the hotel and the restaurant) in a uniquely beautiful setting, at the foot of the Rock of Les Baux de Provence.

I would like to express my high appreciation for the beautiful hotel. The location and amenities were absolutely wonderful. While it's common to stay in expensive and modern hotels, the breathtaking surroundings of your hotel set it apart. Receiving such exceptional quality of service in such a stunning setting truly made this stay remarkable. The restaurants on the premises exceeded all expectations, offering not only exquisite cuisine but also an atmosphere that perfectly complemented the overall experience.

Everything has been done to have an unforgettable experience : from the service to the room, the restaurant (Oustau) and the staff, we had a really beautiful week end. The location is stunning, the hotel very well maintained, our room was very comfortable and a strong attention to details to make it even more luxurious. La carriere des Lumieres visit suggested by the front desk team was also very nice. Thank you and Bravo!

L'Ousteau de Baumaniere is a mythical destination in French cuisine. Set in the other worldly moon like bauxite mine region of Les Bau de Provence, the main building/restaurant is nestled into the surrounding valley. Three Michelin star chef Glenn Viel has brought new youthful treasures, while also continuing traditional dishes of Chef Charial, and his Grandfather who originally started L'Ousteau after the War. Excellent cuisine, superb service, and one of the most extensive wine lists in the world. A truly exceptional dining experience.
