Wow! What an impressive, friendly and professional group of people. Everybody we encountered was on point. And Yes, the hotel is in a perfect location, the atmosphere is cozy and clean. The downstairs café in the rooftop bar and restaurant are awesome. All true. However, this place solidifies my belief that it’s a consistent attention to detail that makes the most difference. And this place absolutely nails it. These folks should be proud of how they approach their work. And know that they make a positive impact on their guests. Well done!

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff (from concierge to reception to housekeeping) were so welcoming and performed their roles to perfection. The hotel is ideally located for seeing Athen’s major sites. The breakfast buffet has a wide range of items. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel’s cafe and at its rooftop restaurant: Mappemonde. The food was excellent but what really made the evening special was our waiter, Alexandros. His impeccable service and deep knowledge of wine added so much to our evening.

This is our 1st trip to Athens. We have been extremely happy with the location, the hotel accommodation and most importantly the staff, very pleasant, helpful and make you feel welcomed and at home. We had Artemis take care of us during breakfast every day. She most definitely was very attentive, always with a smile, was genuinely happy to serve us. We looked forward to seeing her every morning. This has been a fantastic experience for us, which made the trip so much more extra special. Thank you!!

4.5 Star--The hotel location is at the Syntagma Square, which is the "best value" if one were willing to pay a slight premium for the location. Across the street is the entrance to the Athens Metro subway system hub. There was a Taxi strike on our date of departure for a 08:30H flight. The first Metro train was 05:53H to the airport. The saver was the location was a 5 minute walk to the "X95 Express Bus" to the airport which had buses run every 15 to 20 minutes, which is catered to locals working near the airport. We were able to catch the 04:40H "X95" bus and arrived at the airport promptly to catch our flight. Location is the key for staying at the Athens Capital Hotel--MGallery; especially for the first time visitors to Athens. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Had "no complaint."
