Maybe the best hotel in NZ?
Amazing location with everything within short walking distance. Breakfast was exceptional - most was made to order and the guys in the kitchen was true professionals. The hotel and the rooms are classy and feels brand new. Sarah in the reception checked us in and helped extend our stay - great pleasure to have her help. Valet is great but there is almost no room for parking, just a small space at the side of the road. There are great restaurants in the building and because the hotel is built-in to the shopping mall there is a large food court with lots of options. For top notch food go to Ahi located in the same area. Probably not Michelin star but definitely one that would have honorable mentions. I look forward to see the coming NZ Michelin reviews!

An awesome experience
Easily one of the best hotel we ever stayed in. Spend one night in December with family of 4. We were given 2 rooms side by side. The rooms were fantastic, it was new, clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and toilets and showers were also excellent. Service was great with staff friendly, attentive and responsive. Had breakfast at Advieh Restaurant which was fantastic. As we were booked for a cruise the next day, the location was ideal as it was just steps away from the harbour. Stayed in many hotels which were great but InterContinental Auckland stands out among the greats.

Pre cruise stay
For a pre cruise stay the location is excellent, not only for getting on the ship which was docked directly opposite. Also for exploring and finding places to eat and drink perfect with the roof top bar a must.

Wonderful overnight stay in Auckland!!
We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Auckland. The staff were helpful and courteous. The rooms were beautiful: very clean & modern, with beautiful linens, bath products etc. The location was excellent, right on the water , & walkable to sites of interest. The on-site restaurant was delicious as well. We will absolutely stay here again if we return to Auckland!
