Overlooking Waitematā Harbour, Park Hyatt Auckland is a sophisticated, waterfront residence that enriches guests with authentic and intimate experiences. Paying tribute to the local culture, the hotel is inspired by the Maori wharenui (house). Just as the wharenui is fundamental to Maori life and the beating heart of New Zealand's indigenous culture, the hotel is a place of gathering that brings families, communities and tribes together in Auckland, a welcoming haven to locals and visitors alike. Stylish and spacious guest rooms incorporate Maori accents, such as custom designed tukutuku panels and rugs, made from New Zealand wool. The hotel's dynamic culinary and event spaces are purposefully designed for guests to socialize, dine and relax across different occasions. After a busy day of exploring, guests can relax and unwind at the spa and 25m infinity pool with sweeping views of Auckland Harbour.

We enjoyed an outstanding points stay to cap off our retirement celebration trip. 5 stars all the way. It was our first stay at this brand, and we were dazzled. For context, we traveled with two large suitcases for a several-week trip Down Under. This shaped our view of room sizes and bathroom counter space. We also had Globalist status, which added perks to our stay. Things we liked: - Foremost, service. It was superb from the moment we arrived, and at every interaction with staff: bell staff, front desk, restaurant, housekeeping…truly everyone. - Over-the-top Room Upgrade. We booked a standard king, city view room yet were upgraded to a 1-bedroom corner suite overlooking the harbour. A huge, beautiful room with foyer, dining/living room, bedroom, oversized bathroom (shower and separate tub), walk-in closet. There was abundant room for our gear and loads of bathroom counter space. High end finishes throughout. - Great Globalist perks. We were able to check in early, and more importantly, granted late check out at 4 PM, which was perfect for our evening flight. - Breakfast (complimentary for Globalists) was every bit the 5-star, international menu you’d expect at this property. - We had an unexpected, and fun, surprise when management sent up a bottle of champagne and a small cake to congratulate us on our retirement. What a thoughtful and personal touch. - The location is perfect. In the heart of the waterfront entertainment district, 3 blocks from ferry terminal or the main street downtown. We loved everything about our stay and will always have special memories of how spoiled we were at PH Auckland.

Wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Auckland for four days. Perfect location very quiet and peaceful. Beautifully appointed rooms and extremely clean. Top notch service all around. When you pay top dollar this is what you expect in a 5 star hotel. The pool area was pretty nice, but you need to be very careful in the hydrotherapy area sharp edges, steep entries into spa and very slippery.
