We had a club room and chose valet parking. When you first arrive it seems quite dark and soulless and there isn’t a conventional reception. Our room wasn’t quite ready so we went to the cafe, which was noisy, so we opted for lunch in the restaurant which was really fresh and nice with friendly service. Our room was small but a harbour view with a Juliette balcony. As others have said, the aircon controls are very iffy and the rooms are freezing, we opened the balcony door for a bit of warmth. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was really comfortable. We checked out early on the last day and had breakfast, the staff there were really nice and the food was pretty good. During our stay we did try the club lounge and that was also good with various wines and some hot meals as well as canapés. After we checked out we were billed for a room bar charge in error, this was disappointing as they didn’t email us we just saw it on our banking app, it took two emails and a customer services chat to finally get a refund. We would stay here again, but it’s not the best Sofitel we have visited.

We only stayed one night but it was so memorable. The beautiful staff from the La Maree restaurant for both dinner and breakfast were remarkable. They made my family including my 3 month old feed welcome and appreciated. Special shout out to Winston from the Breakfast service.

We love this Hotel , the staff are amazing and are so welcoming and friendly towards us which makes staying there a special place. We really appreciate the upgrade due to our Accor Diamond membership and the use of the Club with its high quality food and fine French Red wine. We stay in a lot of Hotels with Executive lounges and the lounge at this Hotel is the best ! The breakfast too is top notch and up there with the best as well. Jimmy makes the world’s best coffee , we will attach a photo with the decoration he did on my cappuccino which was very impressive ! Look forward to our stay again in March already.

Arrived about noon with 6 pieces of luggage and no one to assist. Staff did say hello as we lugged our luggage down to reception. We booked on Amex, offering a $100 credit and an early check in but a room was not available. Prioritizing our room to be cleaned we checked in a few times and reception had no idea until our room was finally ready 2 hours later. We did appreciate use of the showers although the stone floor in mine had some loose stones and headed to the cafe for a snack and a spend of our credit. Cafe folks very nice and coffee was good but they were unable to put the charge on our room until after 2 pm. Weak. Attempting to use our credit again we headed to the bar about 5:15 and were one of 3 occupied tables. Two gents were working and after we sat one disappeared and the other noticed but us but it took me interrupting him at the bar almost 10 minutes later to order a drink. 2nd day wifi down and they were going to send a tech to our room (never came) and finally they realized it was thier problem not our and wifi still down 4 hours later. Still having not used much of our credit we couldn’t find a room service menu online or in the bar so headed to reception who told us to look on our tv and didn’t have a menu. Not wanting to go back up to our room and looking for alternatives they sent us to the restaurant who were able to help us. Disappointing. On a positive note the breakfast was delish, staff friendly and room was nice and in a great location. Certainly not a 5 star experience.

The staff was very hospitable and the Hotel had a very classy look. I happened to peak into the Spa and it looks inviting. The parking wasnt an issue and the French Restuarant had some amazing menu along with the freshly baked bread served in a unquie manner. A must try incase you are out on Viaduct the Hotel had an exclusive walkway wheer we could click memories. I heard some guest talk about the rooms and standrad which surely will be a treat for travellers.
