Proper’s the best
It’s always a great time when I come to the Proper. Enjoying a vibe with friends at the bar and eating some good food. A special thanks to Kendra (valet) for taking care of us when we came in and left.

Great visit
I had a great stay here. Everyone was really nice and contributed their best effort across all areas. Kendra and Nestor in valet was great with helping with our bags and gave us water when we left. Thank you and we hope to be back soon.

Best bar
Spent a few days at the hotel and the lobby bar is hands down the best bar in Austin. One night Tiffany and Alexis took care of us, and another night it was James and Marshall. We had consistent service from all of them and felt like regulars... they remembered our drinks and somehow made sure we never had an empty glass, even with the bar packed. The pool servers were also great and checked in frequently.

Birthday stay
The staff was very caring and responsive. They let us stay beyond our check out time to let my daughter nap a little longer because she was sick. Kendra and Miguel were very attentive with our car and luggage!
