A Hotel with old fashion vourtesy
I am not a world traveler like my wife who has been to all 5 continents but we seem to end up in a hotel 6-12 times a year, mostly in the USA. Hotels in the USA usually have impersonal employees that almost universally care about the guest, except for payment. The only times I have found the type of courtesy and service we found at the Fairmont Austin have been at foreign hotels like Bermuda's Fairmont Hamilton Princess. So I guess itis something Fairmont does internationally. Thank you Fairmont!!!

Luxury and Comfort in the Heart of Austin
The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms were spotless with a great view of downtown Austin. We chose to upgrade to the Gold Lounge, which was absolutely worth it. It's located on the 35th floor and offers stunning views of the city. The daily breakfast spread was impressive with a wide variety of options like eggs, bacon, pancakes, pastries, fresh bread, coffee, juices, and other cold drinks. On the weekend, they even had a build-your-own mimosa bar (available for an extra charge), which was a fun touch. In the afternoon, the hors d'oeuvres were plentiful and perfect for a snack. The honor bar had a great selection of beers, liquors, and mixers, so you could easily make your favorite cocktail. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool, we did check it out and it looked like a lively and fun spot to relax. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I'd return and recommend it to anyone visiting Austin.

great experience
when I got there the gentleman at the front desk was so kind! the bell desk attendant was also very sweet; she even took my bags to my room. the in-room dining was pricey, but my only option. Texas had the Texas burger; it was delicious and very much Texas sized! although, the price i paid was a bit different than the in-room menu pricing. coming back to my room with it fixed up and neatly organized was a great feeling lol i need that at home. i felt comfortable, relaxed and at home during my stay and I'd gladly book another stay in the future :)
