Great Hotel
Great Hotel, in the heart of Austin! Amazing room at 37th floor, I was attending a conference but the entire hotel including the amenities that I was not able to use were great. Front desk team very receptive and supportive to any request.

Underwhelming
I was underwhelmed with the Fairmont in Austin. It was fairly central and easy to walk out but there’s very little in the immediate run down area. The biggest disappointment was the bar and bar lounge, the service was atrocious and definitely not 5*. We had to ask for service, ask for water (which never came), request the bill 3 times. If I ever came back to Austin I’d probably choose somewhere else

Austin flavor?
Hotels are all the same, after traveling for a while...A money machine...where the true care for human? Where the true connections? beneath the mental inspiration of art, decor, where is the real connection via food, via conversation? Fairmont is no doubt the top hotel, yet ripe for new round of elevation of your service --- I want to visit Austin, where is the Austin flavor? Where is the best yummy street food which feeds heart and soul? instead of pricy hotel food / machine like service geared for transaction and monetization? I don't feel good about central air conditioning, making skins super dry --- need 2-3X hydration.

This aw an excellent experience. From the time my wife and I checked in until the time we checked out..We had a memorable experience and if we are ever in the area again, we will make reservations for the Fairmont Austin.

Had a really great time at the Fairmont in Austin. Everything was great. Front desk staff was awesome. The lobby bar, Revue and Garrison were also top notch.
