Clean, accommodating and comfortable. Great location. Guest services were great and provided excellent customer service. I would definitely stay again. Recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful time in Austin starting with our hotel stay. They were very accommodating. Not to mention it’s a beautiful hotel. The on site restaurant is great as well.

My stay was disappointing, especially traveling with a child. We arrived on a Thursday, and the vibe was weird. Highlights: Arrival: 1. No one was at the hotel it was empty 2. We came early and were asked to pay $30 for early check in and set an unwelcoming vibe 3. Offered margaritas or water offered at check in not a hotel aligned with our family In the room: 1. Alcohol displayed openly on the vanity 2. His and hers condom and lubricant set 3. Pool view - adults everywhere no children had a place to play or swim Valet: 1. $62 a night for valet no self parking 2. Tons of construction 3. Valet charged my car which is nice but didn’t ask me if I wanted to charge my car and afraid I’ll be charged for it. Location 1. Good location near freeway 2. Downtown is empty during the day and night 3. Overrun by homeless Housekeeping: 1. Room had someone else hair on shower wall 2. After cleaning room linens were not refreshed 3. Bathroom amenities not refreshed Overall: 1. Not a family friendly hotel obviously the audience are single adults 2. If you are not in the drinking space this hotel is not for you nor is the pool area

Elegant hotel in the middle of Austin’s night life at Rainy district. Parking is valet only at $62 per night! There’s a public parking garage about 3 blocks away. Check in was quick and efficient. Very attentive concierge and valet people. Mario of the valet service did an excellent job. Haley of the front desk was pleasantly attentive and very accommodating. They’re both real assets of the hotel. The room was squeaky clean. With mini- fridge and espresso maker but no microwave oven. Bed is soft and cushy with crispy clean linens. There are snacks available as well as bar drinks for a fee. Amenities are aplenty but towels are not as white. There’s a restaurant on the 4th floor adjacent to the pool! Lots of lounge chairs in the pool areas with private cabanas. The servers at the Regina restaurant are all attentive with a ready smile. I definitely recommend this hotel. For weekend trips or long stay, you’ll love this place.

From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a cool, distinctly Austin vibe with its clever music themes woven throughout the decor. It creates this wonderful nostalgic feeling, like a love letter to the city's rich musical history. The staff here are genuinely fantastic – super helpful and always ready with a smile. And yes, the front desk margaritas are indeed superb – a delightful welcome (or anytime) treat! My room was a comfortable and stylish haven, a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Speaking of exploring, the location couldn't be better. As I noted, it's incredibly convenient, with a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars just steps away. Plus, being so close to the river makes it easy to get out for a refreshing walk or jog. Hotel Van Zandt offers a unique and positive experience, blending a fantastic location with exceptional service and a charming, music-infused atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
