Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, Maldives

A really great holiday at this resort - from the moment we landed in the Maldives, the Coco Palm staff were there to look after us, ensuring our every step was escorted –– really appreciated as our flight connections from the UK were a mess. Nothing was too much trouble from the moment we set foot on sand! We really loved our cabin, designed in an eco-friendly way and with sympathetically-styled furniture, outdoor bathroom and lots of space. The cabins are all nestled between lush tropical planting so you can hardly see anyone else, with discreet little walkways onto the glorious beaches. I could wax lyrical about all aspects of this island as it has been designed to be a tropical hideaway and not a massive, modern development. The food is amazing and again, the chefs can't do enough to ensure that you get what you want, to the point of creating dishes on the spot for allergy sufferers. We had an all inclusive package, which was great value and only paid for diving, the cost of which was reasonable compared to other destinations, However, this is not a dedicated dive resort so if you wanted to do a lot of diving, you might find it a little restrictive. We were happy with the number we had and the dive team were great. Our friends also used the gym and spa facilities and liked those (some costs involved) and it should be noted there are no specific kids facilities. Much appreciated by our group – there were a few kids there, but they were the sort to enjoy the water and natural world. Recommended? YES! Going back, certainly hope so.

Coco Palm is a beautiful island which is why we wanted to go back. We booked with Angelfish Travel who know a lot about the Maldive Islands. They are very friendly and we thoroughly recommend them. The staff on Coco Palm are so friendly. The food is delicious with live cooking stations. Lovely variation of food each day and delicious desserts. The Deluxe Villa was lovely. We had No.71 and it was very private with plenty of lush greenery which leads directly onto the wonderful beach. Very quiet, sometimes we were the only two people in the sea. The island has a great layout. We recommend going to the Beach Bar before dinner, fantastic views of the sunset with a lovely light warm breeze. The snorkeling isn't as good as other islands that we have been to but the island and the friendly staff make up for it. If you want complete relaxation with no news and no shoes this is the island for you. You wont be disappointed.

Beautiful island, very comfortable beach villa and such wonderful, cheerful staff throughout. Room boys Shaik and Binayak were so helpful (and such towel-art talent!) and the restaurant team were just lovely. The food was exceptional; the attention to detail and creativity was amazing - and every single dish was delicious! It was fun to factor in the seaplane transfer too.

A wonderful experience in Paradise. The staff is very available. A great different variety of choices for the food. You can choice between different excursions with turtles, mantra. You can relax yourself with the services of the SPA. Every evening there is a proposal for the guests.
