Conrad Bali

We had an extended family stay at Conrad Bali and leave with an excellent overall impression. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully executed in every aspect – from the rooms and facilities to the food, atmosphere, and overall operation. What truly stood out during our stay was the level of service and the people. Our Conrad Curator, Cicilia A, provided personal, professional, and warm support throughout our visit. She was always available, solution-oriented, and genuinely attentive to our family’s needs. Unfortunately, all of our children became ill during the stay (not from the hotel). During this period, we experienced an impressive level of care and flexibility. Cicilia assisted us in arranging in-room doctor visits, handling necessary travel insurance documentation, and making practical adjustments that made a boring situation much easier for us. Toward the end of our stay, understanding was also shown in a discreet and generous manner, tailored to our specific circumstances – something we greatly appreciated and did not take for granted. We would also like to highlight that the service was outstanding at every level: from the security staff around the resort, to housekeeping, gardeners, restaurant staff, the kids club team, and everyone else we encountered. Everyone was friendly, professional, smiling, and genuinely welcoming, contributing each day to a safe, calm, and very comfortable experience – especially important when traveling with children. Conrad Bali delivered luxury with substance, but above all, it was the people who made this stay truly special for us. We return home with great gratitude and many wonderful memories, and we would gladly return in the future.

The Conrad Bali is a pleasant hotel, and the property and location are undeniably beautiful. Having stayed at nearly half of the Conrad hotels worldwide, however, this one fell a bit short of expectations for me. That said, the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, which is always appreciated. One important point to highlight upfront: while most Conrad properties are upscale, often city hotels with a calm, refined, and tranquil atmosphere, this is not the case here. Conrad Bali is a full-scale family resort. During our stay, just after New Year’s, there were dozens, if not hundreds, of children on the property at any given time. That is perfectly fine, as this is not marketed as an adults-only hotel, but it is simply not what I personally look for in a Conrad stay. The Good - Beautiful, well-maintained property - Spacious and comfortable rooms - Solid food and beverage offerings - Friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort The Not So Great - Overcrowded breakfast experience: Until at least 6 January, breakfast involved 10 to 20 minute waits, even for suite guests. While three restaurants offered breakfast, overall crowd management felt poor. There are several relatively easy improvements that could significantly enhance the experience, such as extending breakfast hours to 11:00, offering a grab-and-go option in the lobby, or providing a smaller breakfast offering in the Executive Lounge. As it stands, breakfast often felt more like a war zone than a relaxed start to the day. - No adult-only or dedicated kids’ areas: Without designated zones, every pool effectively becomes a play area, which may be challenging for guests seeking a quieter experience. The Poor - Conrad Suites Lounge access, or lack thereof: No matter what you may have read previously, heard from other guests, or even experienced at this hotel in the past, you will NOT have access to the Conrad Suites Lounge if you book a Conrad Suite (unless you also have a HH Diamond status). At every other Conrad property where I have stayed in a suite, lounge access has been included, unless the lounge was explicitly branded differently, such as “Club 45” at Conrad Abu Dhabi. Numerous reviews confirm that suite guests previously had lounge access at this property, and the hotel itself has stated as much on Tripadvisor in the past. The website still refers vaguely to “complimentary benefits throughout your stay,” though, to be fair, it no longer explicitly mentions lounge access. Apparently, this policy has changed, and the lounge is now reserved exclusively for Hilton Honors Diamond members. That is absolutely fine, but calling it the “Conrad Suites Lounge” on signage throughout the property while denying access to guests paying over USD 500 per night for literally a "Conrad Suite" is deeply frustrating. Is this the end of the world? No. But it is extremely poorly communicated. Simply renaming it to “Diamond Lounge” and updating online information, including previous statements on Tripadvisor, would avoid a lot of unnecessary disappointment and frustration. I pointed the issue above out to the hotel in my direct feedback, but the hotel claimed that the lounge has been renamed, which is simply not true (and that behaviour is actually a big red flag for me).

Service was excellent. Hotel was beautiful. Staff helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Conrad Bali, made even more special thanks to Nanta, who truly went above and beyond to take care of us. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly attentive, kind, and always willing to help in every possible way. When our flight got delayed, Nanta and the hotel staff were extremely supportive and understanding, ensuring everything was handled smoothly and without stress for us. The hotel itself is exceptional. The facilities are top-notch, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely caring, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Thanks to the outstanding service, especially from Nanta, our experience at Conrad Bali was unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and would definitely love to return in the future.

Stayed at the Conrad in jan 2026,had a lovely experience.We booked a suite and it was more than 1000sq feet and less than 100mtrs from the beach.The property is very nice and the staff extremely courteous.If ur planning a trip to Bali I would suggest u give this place a try.The only downer was the breakfast buffet,which again was not bad but looking at the property I expected better, I give this property a 5 star,definitely recommend from my side.
