About the Hotel

The Petanu River carves out a lush valley that cradles Kamandalu Ubud, a collection of villas that immerses guests in the Balinese way of life. “Kamandulu,” adopted from Sanskrit, means “the vessel that holds the holy water,” a moniker that encourages finding inner peace. Facility, location, staff, rooms, Spa... all really excellent... just a wonderful place to relax, only 10 mins walk from the busy centre of Ubud. If I was to recommend changes it would be in the restaurant, menu needs some work, variation, especially for those staying a few days...what is produced was just ok...

Located close to town. Also had shuttle which was free Lovely quiet views of the forrest. Rooms were big. Service was OK. I found the service to be a bit slow compared to other hotel but staff was friendly. Not much to do with kids in the resort. Would recommend for couple

Great Massage during stay

I enjoyed a traditional Balinese massage while staying at Kamandalu, which was incredible. Sudiani was very welcoming and gave a wonderful massage. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the spa experience made my stay at Kamandalu that much more enjoyable.
