Mandapa, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Mandapa has ruined us for all future travels! The property, the service, the inclusions, the little touches by our Patih (butler) Dewa, the gorgeous rooms, the food, the (for an extra charge) Volkswagen tour, everything was immaculate. We celebrated 5 nights of our honeymoon at Mandapa, and we have missed it ever since we left. We enjoyed the river sights and sounds, the included cooking demo, the pool, the photoshoot (we ended up buying many photos on top of the free print), the Kubu tasting menu, meeting fellow midwestern US guests who were repeat visitors, the little surprises left in our beautiful room, our Croatian server's fun interaction during our Kubu dinner, all of the other staff interactions, the extra surprise when we ordered room service, I could keep going and going.... We have already been talking about how we can get back there someday (and we originally thought Bali would be a one-time trip for us). If you can afford it, you MUST stay here.

We enjoyed a beautiful stay at Mandapa. The service was top notch and we have to give our thanks to many of the staff who made it possible. Our Patih, Meech, who was so kind and was so attentive to small details. He noticed my shoes were soaked after the river rafting and sent it for laundry and I got my shoes dry on the same day itself ! All these small little things/worries settled on autopilot. Our guides for river rafting (Torres), photographer (Eka) and our rice paddy farming instructor were all brilliant. All in all, a fantastic experience and unforgettable experience made possible by the great staff who run the place.

We're so glad to have spent part of our honeymoon at Mandapa. The resorts itself is beautiful - well maintained, spacious despite peak season, and beautiful (and large) rooms. What's more is the incredible service - everyone from our personal patih (butler) to all of the restaurant and spa staff were incredible friendly and knowledgeable. Special shoutout to our Stevie, our patih, who always welcomed us with a friendly smile and really went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. After asking about a favorite dessert of ours, we were surprised to come back to our room that night with it already prepared and waiting for us! And not only once from the resort restaurant, but a second time from a favorite location of ours that we didn't have to go to ourselves. Another shoutout to Nila, who made the best jamu for us each of the two breakfasts we had at the resort. The breakfast at Mandapa is incredible!

To my absolute delight, my family arranged an incredible surprise trip to Bali! As we embarked on this adventure, we found ourselves at the stunning Mandapa property for the second leg of our journey. The beauty of the place was breathtaking, making our experience truly magical. With the incredible Kewin, our butler, and Madee our very knowledgeable tour guide, we embraced full days of activities, exploring waterfalls, temples, rice fields, and coffee plantations, enjoying exquisite dining, and creating unforgettable birthday memories. A must-visit location.
