Mandapa, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Mandapa Hotel is a luxury jungle resort located in Ubud, with rooms offering stunning views, making it feel like living in the jungle every day. The hotel helped us book a rafting trip on the Ayung River, which was so much fun. The food at every restaurant was delicious, and the scenery was beautiful. Our butler, Tira, provided excellent service! We are grateful to her for giving us such a wonderful experience.

This hotel experience was the most luxurious of my entire life. The setting, the service, the villa, I am almost without words to express the depth of my enjoyment and appreciation. Our butler, Parmini, was incredible. She was gracious and thoughtful, and anticipated our every need. Every single employee we interacted with was smiling and helpful, and so solicitous. Each dining experience was over the top, from a private dinner overlooking the rice field, to sitting in a private cocoon on the edge of the Ayung river. At the pool, we enjoyed “Mandapa” stamped huge coconuts, filled with special drinks, and at every meal we were offered special complimentary appetizers and desserts. The villa we stayed in overlooked the river and the accommodations were just superb. Fresh fruit and snacks every day, beautiful, indoor and outdoor showers, along with a beautiful indoor/outdoor cabana, in addition to a generous sized infinity pool. Overall, this was an extraordinary experience with top notch service.

Our stay at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve was truly incredible and far beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, every staff member made us feel like we belonged there — they remembered us, greeted us by name, and took care of every detail with genuine warmth. The butler service was absolutely amazing, and our butler Thania was honestly one step ahead of a genie. She understood our food choices, meal timings, and even our sparkling water preference, and everything was arranged like magic without us having to repeat anything. We stayed for 2 days, but it felt too short because the vibe of Mandapa is nothing less than heaven. The River View One Bedroom Villa was pure bliss — it reflected what a peaceful, luxurious life truly feels like. Mandapa’s people really know how to touch hearts and create lasting memories. They are simply outstanding.
