The Ritz-Carlton, Bali

This is our second stay in Ritz Carlton. We had a wedding to attend to nearby. This was a significant improvement from our last stay 1 year ago. All the issues we had last year were fixed. The beach chairs were available as opposed to completely occupied. The hotel was about 80% full. We were upgraded based on our Platinum status and STARS reservation. The Ritz Carlton Suite is much better than the junior suite. The housekeeping was also much improved and the cleanliness was better. Make sure you make a reservation at hydropool if you want to use it, we couldn't use it because it was booked before our spa appointment. The spa facilities are also fantastic. I love the cold plunge. The service is fantastic here. Yurika and Dion were so nice at check in and made our anniversary very special. Thank you!

We, me and my wife, stayed here from 1 sept till 6 sept. Only good things to say. The staff, and our host Ari, are doing everything to make your visit unforgettable. We had room 3515 and it’s a perfect location in the resort! Close to all the facilities.

Fabulous experience at the Ritz Bali with a fantastic service and a team that was very helpful and attentive to the guests ! Thank you for making our vacation amazing. Special mention to the kids club team for looking after our little girl. Food and service was great as well.

The property, people, and amenities were all top notch. Our room was spacious and had amazing views. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the food was good, beach service was quick, and the spa services were incredibly relaxing and restorative. The diptyque amenities had a great scent and the bathrooms were fully stocked with everything you could need while traveling - toothbrushes, razors, etc. We particularly appreciated the WhatsApp butler service - the butlers were prompt and helpful with all sorts of needs, from arranging on-premises reservations and spa appointments to finding offsite service providers to provide services not available on premises. While we loved our stay and would absolutely recommend the property to others, we have a few recommendations for improvement: our room was starting to show some age and would benefit from some improvements - specifically: (1) the motorized shades were convenient but required holding multiple buttons in various rooms for a long time to open/close all of them; (2) the closet layout was a bit awkward and inefficient - it was hard to access half of it and the drawers in the closet kept hitting the sliding closet doors which would not stay fully open without some sort of door stopper; (3) the private pool was beautiful but too cold to swim in - it would have been magical with just a bit of heating. A few other points - the elevator in our building had a bit of a musky stench to it and did not have the same level of ambiance as the rest of the resort or the primary elevators; the shopkeeper was burning incense inside the store which had no windows or ventilation - this was super overpowering and caused us to leave before we could buy anything; we had to provide our room number to do anything and everything, even to catch a ride to the lobby on one of the hotel golf carts which didn’t require any extra payment, this got a bit old after the 20th time each day. Overall this is an amazing property - one of the best we’ve stayed at. It is a huge property and has a ton to offer. While there is always room to make things better, it was such a special place that we can’t wait to return to!

This hotel is one of the best of its kind. The grounds were so beautiful with a stunning view of the ocean.  The reception area was elegant. The room was huge. It had everything that you could possibly need. The room service was excellent. The staff were all friendly, kind  and helpful. Our daily buffet breakfast was satisfying.  There was a variety of food options. The dishes I've tried were all delicious. The servers were attentive. Bejana restaurant was incredible. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu.  The food was fantastic.
