The Location of the hotel is awesome, the food was good, infact the Breakfast is wonderful, the comfort of the room was good, rooms are spacious and very comfy, the colors used for ambiance is so tempting. SPA is awesome too.

I took my family to stay here because my swimming pool in my apartment is renovating. Unfortunately, the swimming pool cannot use as well at the hotel. It’s renovated too! But the hotel managed us to swim in St.Regis, which is ok. Overall is nice experience and looking forward to see a new swimming pool once it’s done.

The worst part of this stay was the evening canapés provided provided by the "lounge" at the Lobby. Only one set per person, dishes tasted dreadful, some mocktails were undrinkable, the service was horrendously slow Staff at the Lobby lounge also appeared unsure of the 6pm "turndown drink" and took forever to get back to us about the drink contents When we asked for more "turndown drink", we were told that they only serve it at 6pm. All these because the staff were so slow to tell us what the drink contained. Also, on both days, the lounge didn't have any grape tea (available on the menu) This lounge ranks among one of the worst in terms of food/drink quality (and no selection of food). Our onward journey in Bangkok will bring us to the Chatrium Grand, JW Marriott, and the Westin, where we have lounge access, and we believe that they will be able to provide better lounge service after experiencing the low standards set by the Anantara Hot chocolate in the lounge (and during breakfast was so tasteless/bland, that it needed 2-3 sugar cubes to taste like a chocolate drink. Next, we were confused about whether mineral water was free (we thought it was weird that the letter stated that mineral water wasn't free) and throughout the day, we didn't dare to open a single bottle of their chang mineral water. On arrival, one of the lift was not working and they were clueless about it. There were flies and mosquitoes inside the room on both days and our sleep was affected on the first day. There was a spider in the room on our third day- what if the spider was venomous and had bitten us? Our air-condition malfunctioned during the 2nd day as well Restrictions on hotel credit very unclear. Otherwise, service was generally quite ok. Breakfast was decent, and front-desk staff were fine. Things seemed to be breaking down in the hotel, however. There was nothing exceptional, and in my opinion, it is not worth the value for money. Finally, the view from our hotel room is very bad and the sound insulation is not as good as newer hotels.
