Banyan Tree Bangkok

We dined at Saffron, a friend brought me there for a birthday dinner. We were served by Sai, Korn and Mew. Special shoutout to Sai though only an intern but she is excellent and attentive Services were fabulous and food was great too. Ended up with a surprise birthday cake from the team as well.

À l’arrivée, on a trouvé personne pour nous aider avec les bagages (arrivée tardive), mais la réceptionniste était très gentille et nous a surclassé et n’a pas pris de deposit vu que nous avions des cartes de débit et que les deposits posent problème. Concierge et personnel très serviable. Chambre spacieuse. Pour un hôtel de ce standing il y a plusieurs moins : une petite tache trouvée sur la literie (très confortable par ailleurs), bouteilles d’eau recyclable en verre compliquées d’utilisation, belle baignoire mais elle était bouchée où nous n’avions pas su l’utiliser avant que quelqu’un nous aide. En tant que clients musulmans nous avons demandé d’enlever l’alcool de la chambre et ça été fait. Cela dit le vrai problème est le petit déjeuner, l’hôtel ne tient absolument pas compte de sa clientèle musulmane pourtant potentiellement nombreuse. Aucun produit affiché halal pas même la viennoiserie, les nouilles et d’autres produits contiennent du poulet et donc options très limitée sans savoir ce qui est halal ou pas. Trop de choix asiatiques et peu du reste du monde. Jus de moyenne qualité. Service plutôt sympathique mais le personnel peut être formé à ces aspects.

Since arrival, K. Nita at reception is very nice and helpful. She made us feel so comfortable and assisted to enroll member for voucher. When I checked-in to the room K.Nita and K.Jinho surprised us with cak and visited at our room. This made a very huge difference and beyond my expectations. A top hotel! Everything was just as you expect in a 5 star hotel. The Food, room, hospitality and amenities were all excellent which really helped in our 3 day stay in hectic Bangkok. We were looked after impeccably by all the staff and nothing was too much bother.
