All servers soooo kind and nice. Especially, Grape is the best employee in Kimton. She was so nice for us, and i like the way she talked with us.

smooth and efficient check in process. concierge was very helpful in scheduling shuttles and planning my itinerary. breakfast was amazing! the hotel is pet friendly and surely enough, I saw many friendly pets . the little garden and pond were a nice oasis. staff very friendly and helpful.

Kimpton Maa-Lai is a lovely, modern hotel in the quiet, leafy Langsuan neighborhood — safe, walkable, and a great place to relax after a day out. It feels peaceful, but you’re still close to everything. A short shuttle brought us to Central Embassy, one of my favorite malls in Bangkok, full of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. Our room was spacious, bright with great views. The bed was very plush and comfy for two. Everything felt fresh, clean, and well-designed. The vibe at the hotel is very cool and stylish — definitely a place where the trendy crowd goes. From the lobby to the rooftop at Bar.Yard, it always feels alive and fun. Loved seeing the dogs and their fur parents at the lobby. Best of all was the service. Special thanks to Grape at the front desk — she’s warm, gracious, and really hardworking. She made us feel truly welcome, and we even saw her at Bar.Yard during social hour, attending to guests and making sure everyone was having a good time. She’s amazing at what she does and gave such a personal touch to our stay. We’re so happy we found this gem. It was perfect for us — we will definitely be back!

My wife is the true Bangkok enthusiast—she loves exploring every corner of the city and soaking up everything Thailand has to offer. Me? I’m all about the food, and once I’m satisfied, I’m perfectly content to relax at the hotel. That’s why I tend to spend more time indoors than most travelers, and it also means I’m quite particular about where we stay. This time, my wife recommended the Kimpton Maa-Lai. I’ll admit, I had already seen photos of the neighboring Kempinski and was initially more drawn to that one. But I’m so glad I trusted her instincts—because from the moment we stepped into the Kimpton’s chic, stylish lobby, I could feel the difference. There’s a unique energy at the Kimpton—a vibe that feels fresh, relaxed, and effortlessly cool. It’s something I didn’t quite get from other high-end hotels we’ve stayed in, including The Peninsula, The Mandarin, or even Kempinski. Right away, we were greeted by Grape (yes, like the fruit!), one of their guest relations standouts. Her genuine warmth and friendly welcome were exactly what we needed after a long, tiring flight. It’s rare to find that kind of sincere hospitality, and it truly elevated our entire stay. Our room was everything I look for—spacious, modern, tastefully designed, and impeccably clean, with a calming view of the park. The layout was intuitive and well-thought-out, making it a perfect place to unwind. And the breakfast? Absolutely worth waking up for. A great selection, high-quality ingredients, and the best part—they switch it up daily. I would’ve loved to see some fresh coconut water (coconut juice), but with so many other delicious options, I barely missed it. The next time we’re in Bangkok, I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Kimpton Maa-Lai is now our go-to.
