Review of Lancaster Bangkok Hotel I had the pleasure of staying at the Lancaster Hotel in Bangkok with my family, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, and the hotel team made it even more special. From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful touches throughout our stay, everything felt personal and genuine. Special thanks to the manager, ms . Aum, for his kindness and attention to detail. He and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their professionalism, friendliness, and care created wonderful memories not only for me and my wife but also for our 7-year-old child, who felt right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, elegant, and offers a relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for both families and couples. Thanks to the Lancaster team, we will always remember this stay as a highlight of our travels and a celebration of our anniversary filled with love and joy. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bangkok!

I spent one night at the Lancaster Bangkok and stayed in a 95 m² suite. The room felt very spacious and elegant, with a freestanding whirlpool bathtub, high-quality materials and thoughtful details. I especially appreciated the fruit plate prepared on arrival, as well as the friendly and efficient check-in and check-out. Even small touches like the separate dressing/make-up area added to the sense of comfort and luxury. I booked breakfast separately (600 THB) and found it very good value – a wide selection, served in a spacious and comfortable dining room. Early in the morning it was quiet, which I enjoyed. The only minor points: the background music was a bit loud, and as a solo traveller in a five-star hotel, I would have appreciated if the second table setting had been cleared. Overall, even though I usually prefer to write reviews after longer stays (4–5 nights, to really feel the layers of a hotel), this one night was enough to leave me with a very positive impression. I would be happy to return and explore more of the facilities. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful hotel but absolutely terrible service. The staff is borderline disrespectful and just does not want to help customers.

I've stayed here many times over the last two and half years. Bangkok certainly has a number of excellent and luxurious properties throughout the city but the Lancaster excels in several areas. First and foremost, service is excellent and consistently high. This is critical in a city that is as dynamic and sprawling as BKK. Khun Nutt at concierge and Khun Bee at reception are always excellent, but they truly distinguished themselves during my last stay. They are simply outstanding and amazingly helpful. Rooms are large and spacious and very well designed. Rooms are amazingly quiet (although it does help to face away from New Petchaburi Road and be on a higher floor). However, internal noise, which has ruined many a good hotel for me is almost non-existent. The mattresses and chairs of exceptionally comfortable and very high quality so relaxing in the room is effortless. There is plenty of storage and work areas for those needing a more focused environment. Housekeeping is routinely excellent. Food and Beverage introduced a number of new items both Western and Thai and the quality of the food has steadily improved (not to imply it was previously subpar) however the kitchen is now a bit more consistent and a few degrees better. Although ordering items across venues (e.g., Brasserie items in the bar or bar items through room service) can sometimes be unnecessarily challenging. The Hotel recently installed an on-site ATM machine, which is a life-saver to avoid the Bangkok heat and congestion. Gym facilities are excellent. Breakfast is plentiful and now includes a few more Thai staples, which are delicious. All of this comes in a package that is significantly cheaper than comparable hotels along Sukhumvit or elsewhere. Stay here. Walk 5 minutes to the MRT and ride it 60 seconds to Sukhumvit, you get so much more value for money. Happy Traveling.
