Fantastic stay
What a great hotel. Location was superb. Rooms were clean, modern and luxurious. The lounge staff were awesome - Napa, Kathy, Lulu, Jommy.

Great club lounge, room for improvement elsewhere
All of the staff in the club lounge are so friendly and welcoming. Big thank you to Martin, Jommy, Nas, Napa, Lulu, and Kathy! Definitely the highlight of the property, the team here saved the experience for us. Prior to arrival we informed the hotel of our special occasion for the trip, however on arrival it was completely wrong with notes in the room congratulating us on our honeymoon and anniversary, neither of which were the reason for our stay. The lack of care on this “personal touch” just didn’t feel nice for us, it would’ve been better to not have said anything rather than get it wrong twice on two pieces of paper placed next to each other! Rooms are just “ok”, AC and bed not great requiring engineer visits and eventually a room change. Only 2 suites per floor so low chance of Platinum/Titanium upgrades, so better to use SNAs if you have them. Food offerings at breakfast and in the lounge was generally pretty good, better than Marriott The Surawongse where we stayed for a week prior to Le Meridien, however the rooms and service outside of the lounge at Marriott are far superior.

Good service and hard product
Only my second stay at Le Meridien Bangkok, 5min walk to Samyan MRT and 8min to Sala Daeng BTS. Breakfast spread was decent with some unique local offering. Club lounge happy hours enough food for dinner, and also offers afternoon tea. Gym was very adequate for proper workout, next to pool with Mahanakhon Tower view. Thankfully the weather improved on my last day for pool shot of Mahanakhon Tower. I used suite upgrade award to secure a spacious suite. The unsolicited birthday decoration and cake were a nice touch.

Exceptional service at Le Méridien Bangkok
Exceptional service everywhere in the hotel! We opted for a club room to take advantage of the lounge and it was definitely worth the additional cost. The happy hour (called Creative Hour ) from 6-8 pm included a dinner buffet, while a bit limited in terms of selection, was delicious. For breakfast, club guests can choose to eat at the lounge or at the main restaurant. We chose the latter for the expansive variety of breakfast items. (The lounge offers a continental breakfast.) The breakfast options at the restaurant were simply amazing as Thai, Indian, Chinese, Western and Japanese items were available. Everything I tasted was wonderful; the vegetarian curry was my favorite. A special treat was the complimentary sparkling wine for club guests. The swimming pool was a good size ( I estimated it to be approximately 20 meters) for doing some leisurely laps. The fitness room was well equipped with several cardio machines , a couple of workout benches and weights. The guest room was spacious, immaculate and well maintained. The furnishings however, seemed in need of a modern makeover. Despite this one issue I would definitely stay here again, mainly due to the comment I began with: the professional quality of the staff.
