The Peninsula Bangkok

A fine property with beautiful river views. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, as is the pool. The rooms and the service are what one might expect from such an establishment. It was the most expensive of our lodgings in Thailand, but it goes with the territory. Would certainly return.

This may be one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. I've been to the Bangkok Oriental, so I have a pretty high bar. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The egg benedict station was absolutely wonderful along with the fruits, juices, proteins, Asian selections, dim sum, soup and of course the pastries. Our room was just perfect along with the view. We did one of the sunset cruises and thought it was wonderful. We had a massage, used the steam room, sauna and even the cold plunge. Am I gushing...yes. I will remember this hotel for many many years to come. Thank you, Peninsula for such an amazing trip.

Great restaurant at a very fine hotel. We came here for the first time, after being in Bangkok for the 20th time. Foof is very fine, good price-quality rate. But more important than food, is the nice ambiance in the Lobby restaurant. Staff is very professional. Quiet and prompt. Very friendly also. Som and Fan deserve special mentions. Old times come back to life again here. Very nice table setting. Tea is great. Specially the Té Sur le Nile and A l’Opera. Can’t wait to get back to this hotel for a stay in Bangkok.

The Peninsula Bangkok might not be the most modern, affluent or instagrammalbe five star hotel in Bangkok. But for shure it’s wonderful staff delivers really outstanding and exceptional service and hospitality. This goes beyond the usual routine of delivering quality service in a luxury hotel. During our 3 nights stay every single staff member from bell desk up to the staff on the shuttle boat provided exceptional, honest and wholehearted service. The hotel, suite and all public areas are immaculate clean and tastefully decorated. Kudos to the housekeeping team for the great work. Breakfast is outstanding. Also the wonderful pool area is beyond compare. With it’s excellent location on the river, you feel more in an upscale resort than a city hotel. Personally I like The Peninsula Bangkok so much, that I preferred it over the Mandarin Oriental, even having the highest Pearl status at Fans of Mandarin Oriental. Please keep up this excellent job. We will definitely return next time.
