Magical
We spent 3 nights at this property and it is truly on of the most amazing hotels in the world. The grounds are immaculate, the room was large and well appointed, the pool and spa were both fantastic. But what truly sets The Peninsula apart are the people. Every single person we interacted with was kind, warm, and helpful. In the hustle and bustle of Bangkok this was a delightful oasis of calm and beauty. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice location, good service
The luxury you'd expect from a Peninsula property, in a very nice location on the river. The shuttle boat across to the other side was very convenient and always available when we needed it. We booked a transfer from Bangkok airport, since we were arriving late at night, and the arrival was very smooth - a greeter at the airport, smooth drive (45 minutes), and then whisked directly up to our room for check in. The breakfast buffet is amazing; although there really aren't any simpler options at the hotel (no coffee shop etc). So be prepared for a big breakfast.

Peninsula Hotels have become my favorite in any city
Peninsula consistently delivers excellent service. Rooms are generous, food quality is 5/5, pool is very nice, and the complimentary boat service to iconsiam is a great touch. Great view from the rooms. All in all we always have a great stay and look forward to coming back!

Five Star?
We have been coming to the Peninsula 1–2 times per year for quite a while, and unfortunately the quality has declined significantly. The hotel feels extremely overcrowded. At breakfast it is almost impossible to find a table, and when we raised the issue, the staff showed little to no interest. The same situation applies at the pool: cabanas require a minimum spend of 4,000 THB, there are no free sunbeds available, and many are “reserved” with towels or newspapers for long periods of time. Again, nobody seems to care.. All of this at a supposedly five-star hotel. This is very disappointing and not the level of service we used to expect here. We will change hotels and look for another option in the future. Would not recommend.

Excellent hotel with amazing views and services
We had a wonderful stay! Nice hotel, amazing views, excellent services, good food. We loved using the hotel's boat to ICONSAM and to the other side of the river, as well as having breakfast at the hotel's terrace. The view from the room at night is amazing. Didn't have time to use other parts of the facility, such as the spa and the gym. Strongly recommend this hotel!
