About the Hotel

The legendary capital of ancient Siam, Sukhothai now bestows its name on one of Bangkokâ€(TM)s most celebrated hotels. In this bastion of infinite grace, a selection of teakwood-adorned guest rooms includes the sumptuous Sukhothai Suite, a favorite with visiting movie stars and presidents. Because culinary arts and well-being are integral to Thai culture, the hotel boasts a superb spa and a wealth of dining venues. Along with the Italian-inspired La Scala, you may dine at Celadon, whose classically-designed salas are embraced by a romantic lotus pond.

Reviews for The Sukhothai Bangkok

Very nice hotel

Ms. Arunika introduce me to the Sukhothai Hotel. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The hotel has a wonderful spa area and there is also a very well-equipped fitness centre. Outside there is a large pool with good and numerous sun loungers. Everything is very clean. I can warmly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Best Club Lounge

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 17 hours ago

Having travelled to over 70 countries and have stayed in various high-end hotels, the Club lounge in the Sukhothai is excellent, even better than the other high-end brands such as Conrad, Intercontinental, Four Seasons for our tastes. Breakfast menu in the club lounge is extensive, both western, eastern and Thai are offered, certainly something for everyone. The hours for breakfast is also the longest (everyday till 11:00am not just weekends) we‘ve seen. Afternoon tea is also offered serving some light snacks. Evening cocktail hours also has good offering, drinks are decent and the food menu changes daily from western to Japanese, to Thai & more. What we appreciate the most is the tranquility of the Club lounge, as well the attentiveness and friendliness of the Club lounge staff ensuring you are well looked after. The Sukhothai Club lounge, unlike other lounges which are always crowded, noisy, is a place where you can definitely relax and unwind. Very highly recommended.

We’re here for the first time and all the treatment done well by Khun Korn and Khun Milk. One of the best therapists! Will definitely recommend this spa to every spa lover friends and I’m quite sure that they will enjoy. We are welcomed by Khun Mimi and farewell by Khun Now. Great job team!

Wonderful peaceful hotel in the heart of Bangkok

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I have been visiting the Sukhotai hotel since the late 90s and it’s always been a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The best hotel breakfast I have had anywhere and an amazing pool. The staff including Tangmo and Mimi are great. I hope to be back soon.

Excellent service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

The hospitality and service at the Sukhothai are always second to none. Today I received a wonderful complimentary poolside neck and shoulder massage. Sincere thanks to both Por and Now, and to the excellent Sukhothai staff who look after their guests so well.
