Aggression by staff

The staff engages in physical violence (and this is not a joke). Front desk collaborator Juan has aggression issues, and so does the night guard that was on service on March 19th 2025. The guard, encouraged by Juan, dragged me out of lobby after I refused to present my credit card once again. The reason that I refused to give my credit card twice was that the room was pre-paid and erroneous charged twice. I was told the day before by the front desk manager that the matter would be rectified. However Juan (and the night guard) refused to read the manager's email on this matter, and choose to use physical aggression instead. Such people do not belong in the hotel industry. Later it turned out that my credit card had been credited by a 3rd party, but that does not justify physical violence by the hotel's staff. By the way: The hacking took place through the hotel's own website, but (in spite of a few similar occasions), the management so far has not acknowledged or apologised. And for the avoidance of doubt: Yes, the hotel received the full payment upfront.

Camere davvero grandi pulite e ben dotate di tutto di quello che serve. Davvero molto confortevole. Personale gentile e check in rapido così come il check out fatto in line. Colazione ben assortita e con materie prime ottime, unico punto da migliorare lo spazio per la colazione che è un po’ troppo ristretto e nei momenti di punta si fa fatica a trovare un tavolo e c’è troppa confusione

Insonorización nefasta, mal descanso

Hotel moderno con intención de ser de lujo en las zonas comunes con trato del personal excelente, check-in a las 15.00 que me sorprendió negativamente, quizá por ser domingo. Las habitaciones restan mucha nota, buena limpieza pero mobiliario viejo, insonorización nefasta, puerta del balcón no cerraba, lo repararon al decirlo pero entraba aire aun así, colchón curvado y lo solucionaron +-, ruidos de otras habitaciones se escuchaban perfectamente, como cualquier hotel de centro BCN, mucho turismo y algo nocturno, mi habitación daba a la plaza interior, graznidos de gaviotas del puerto y cualquier conversación alta del exterior se metían en el cuarto, mal descanso. Desayuno excelente, de los mejores buffets que he visto, pero carísimo (25€) y si no descansas bien ya no compensa el desayuno.

Sara at the front Desk is wonderful , the Eurostars Grand Marina could not have picked a better person to represent them than Sara. she was kind, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The hotel is lovely and clean, close to everything and has a beautiful view, will stay there again.

Nous avions séjourné 3 jours en Janvier 2024 J’avais recommandé cet hôtel à un proche pour fin année 2024. Le premier jour, l’accueil fut désastreux par un dénommé JUAMA avec des reproches qu’un touriste devait parler la langue du pays et bien d’autres remarques bien désobligeantes! Je ne comprends pas un tel comportement dans un lieu accueillant les touristes qui aiment Barcelone. Je ne recommanderais plus jamais cet hôtel et je n’y séjournerai plus par ce manque de respect qu’on nous accorde. D’autres hôtels beaucoup plus accueillant sont présents sur Barcelone et seront ravis de nous accueillir.
