Grand Hotel Central Barcelona

Staying in Grand Hotel Central added to our great experience. We were greeted very warmly and were taken care of for duration of our stay, with all our needs accommodated on the spot. The hotel is newly renovated , rooms are comfortable and specious.very very clean room and air conditioning is good. Automated blinds are handy after long tours.Pool on the roof is beautiful bar ha s a very good atmosphere at night. Staff was exceptional: at the breakfast and dining, at the concierge, the in room, gym and spa, there were smiles and attention and care surrounding us. Special thanks to Pol, we felt at home. Hotel is in close proximity to shopping streets and the beach.

I went with my wife for a "relaxing week without children" and this was the first time that I said that I am sorry that I can't stay at least one more day. The Hotel is very pleasantly decorated, all the staff are extremely pleasant and polite and the location is excellent. The roof terrace with the pool and adjacent saunas are nice but quite small, however they weren't occupied when I visited. The breakfast is great. It comes to a bit higher price in comparison with some other hotels but if you coincide with some promotion you can get a good price. If I take everything into account, food, location, looks and the staff I can conclude that this is a Hotel that I would gladly return (and I probably will :))

What a wonderful stay we had! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The recently renovated hotel is in excellent condition, and the location is perfect. We stayed in a beautiful clean superior room with a very comfortable bed and enjoyed the wide selection at breakfast. The rooftop is a true delight, especially with DJ music on weekends, and the food at CanBo was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again

This hotel is wonderful! We were greeted with friendly staff and waters. The concierge was wonderful and recommended 2 great restaurants for us and made our reservations (we went to Arcano and 1881 per Sagardi). Staff was attentive to our needs and always friendly. The room was beautiful and spacious and clean. They provide water bottles per person per day, and turn down service. The rooftop was magnificent and the views were amazing, with great drinks and food. Hotel is located in great location in Gothic quarter and walking distance to Barceloneta and other sites. Continental breakfast was great. One con is that we could hear noise from the street one night but it was ok. Would stay here again!

Really great hotel - newly renovated, central location in Gothic Quarters. Rooms are new/ clean- great rooftop. We had a cleaning issue in our room and the manager promptly took care of it. Most of the staff is very friendly - some of the rooftop staff has major attitude/ like they are obliging you getting you a sun bed at the time you already reserved - but overall - i would stay here again.
