Amazing property, staff and experience!
I cannot say enough good words for the Grand Hotel Central. It was our first trip to Barcelona and the location could not be better. Easy walkable access to everything. As for the hotel, it was a very nice and classy property with a great rooftop pool, restaurant/bar and lounge area. The staff was wonderful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Perfect stay
Perfect stay. Spacious and clean room, comfy bed. There was an issue upon arrival with the air con not working but it was fixed immediately. Rooftop bar was amazing and all the staff were helpful and friendly. It was my wife’s 30th birthday whilst we were there and we unexpectedly got a letter under the door wishing her well and offering a free bottle of cava from the restaurant. Unfortunately we didn’t get chance to claim it (we were travelling home the next day and had a few more places we wanted to see) but the sentiment was lovely. Would 100% return and recommend to anyone else.

Excellent stay at the Central SLH
Lovely hotel right in the Gothic area of Barcelona. Excellent staff. We loved their rooftop restaurant! We will be back.

A very warm and friendly 5 star experience in the Barcelona CBD listed in the Michelin Guide for 2025 and 2026.
A beautiful restored building with stunning design and great rooms. The rooftop pool has amazing views over Barcelona cbd along with tapas and drinks. The property features in the Michelin Guide for 2025 and 2026. Staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It’s very close to the Gothic area, the oldest in Barcelona. A 5 star experience at affordable prices.
