Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona

All the staff members were friendly and very helpful. It was a 5-minute walk to a train and the beach was about the same. The pool area was awesome, although it was a bit too cool to take full advantage of everything it had to offer.l while we were there. All in all, the hotel itself was worth coming back to. However, the room, while spacious and with a great view, had some issues. The air condition was pretty much non-existence. I mean, there was air conditioning …if you stood on a chair and put your hand within six inches of the vent, but the room would barely cool down. The shower leaked all over the floor a couple times to the point of having to use all the towels in the room to mop it up. Last, but definitely not least, there was a weird door in the room that wasn’t locked or securely closed all the way. All day and all night, noises of what appeared to be the toilets of the who-knows-how-many rooms above us flushing would send water down the pipes 5-feet from our bed. Not great.

This hotel is a very practical and safe hotel right on the Barcelona seafront. My room was very large and good value for the price. Staff are very helpful. The lifts are rather quirky, you type in your destination floor and then the computer console tells you what lift to get for your destination floor. Breakfast was good, if a little chaotic. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel with really friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room and (if you can access it) great exec lounge. Breakfast very good either in main restaurant or lounge. If eating out and you only want to walk suggest going to the adjacent mall rather than the surrounding area which is not well supplied with restaurants for visitors.

We recently stayed here on our anniversary trip. Before getting on our cruise ship. As soon as we arrived the bell hops were great. Once at the front desk we were informed we had been upgraded. We got a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. We were worried about the marathon going on when we were trying to get to the ship on the Sunday. The front desk assured us he had been working for years and comes in at 2pm without any problems.

It was second time . great location we was in the top of the hotel. Specially executive floor and 2 different breakfast really love it. View of swimming pool fantabulous. barceloneta beach , stadium is not so far. hopefully will back soon....
