Iconic design, incredible culinary experiences and the sparkling Mediterranean are what draw visitors to Barcelona, Spain. These elements are also what attract luxury travelers to Hotel Arts Barcelona. A part of The Ritz-Carlton Hotels group, this 5-star hotel is a striking tower of blue glass and steel with beautifully designed rooms, a two Michelin-star restaurant and spaces, including a rooftop spa and two outdoor pools, that overlook the sea.

I’m not someone who usually writes reviews—especially while I’m still at the hotel—but our experience at Hotel Arts Barcelona has been so outstanding, I couldn’t wait to share it. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt the difference. The personalized service, the warm welcome, the glass of champagne at check-in—it all made us feel instantly at home. But what’s truly exceptional here is the people. Every single staff member we’ve encountered has been gracious, genuine, and attentive—not just to us, but to our kids as well. They’ve made our family feel like we matter. It’s the little things: remembering our names, engaging our children with kindness, anticipating needs we didn’t even realize we had. It’s clear that the entire team works in sync with one goal in mind—to make each guest feel special. We’ve stayed in many places around the world, but this experience stands out in every way. Hotel Arts has set a new bar for hospitality, and our family has already decided: we’ll never stay anywhere else in Barcelona again. If you're reading this and considering a stay—don’t hesitate. We’re living it right now, and it’s been unforgettable.

Basically the hotel is very nice, the staff, the facilities and the vibe itself. The panoramic sea view room we had for 5 days was probably the best room I have ever stayed in a hotel. All in all we did enjoy this hotel very much, but on the weekend days the music gets very loud from the nearby clubs and this disrupted our sleep a little bit in the middle of the night (we were on the 12th floor).

I recently stayed at the Barcelona Arts Hotel and, while the property itself is beautiful, I left feeling extremely disappointed and let down by the way a serious issue was handled. Due to an unreasonably long delay with a food order at the pool—which we ultimately had to cancel ourselves—and an overcrowded reception area where the check-out line filled the entire lobby, our departure felt rushed and chaotic. In the midst of this, I accidentally left a valuable ring in the room. I called the hotel within an hour of leaving, was told housekeeping hadn’t yet entered the room, and gave the exact location where the ring had been left. Despite this, I was later informed it was not found. What followed was an unacceptably slow and disorganized response. The official lost item report form wasn’t sent until several hours later—and only after my husband, who is Spanish, called on my behalf. The investigation didn’t begin until the following day, by which time a full staff shift had already turned over. While they claimed to have searched staff belongings, which to me seemed to acknowledge the possibility of theft, it’s unclear what that could have accomplished over 15 hours later. The entire process lacked urgency, transparency, and accountability, which left me deeply disappointed. I expected a much higher standard of professionalism from a hotel of this caliber.

This is the absolute best hotel. I have never received better service from any staff in the world. The front desk manager Mark was so helpful. The front desk associate Sara gave us undivided attention and made sure our stay was perfect. They went to the end of the world to see we were happy. The pool staff too was second to none. Valentina, Alejandro and Lucia were just lovely. I can’t praise this hotel enough.
