Hotel Gran Derby Suite

I stayed one night at this hotel and had an amazing experience. It's located in Eixample, one of the most charming and vibrant neighborhoods in Barcelona. The room was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with a separate living area and bedroom that made it feel more like a suite. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good selection of options. It can get a bit crowded when many guests arrive at the same time, but the staff were attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. PS: Just a heads-up—there’s another Grand Derby Hotel located across the street, part of the same hotel group. I initially went to the wrong one, and it seems I’m not the only one who’s made that mistake!

This is a small, friendly hotel in a good part of Barcelona. It is easily accessible to trains and a short walk into the main shopping and tourist area. The staff are great - helpful and friendly. The place is clean and the beds comfy. I was happy staying there. Thank you!

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The area around the hotel was nice with places to eat and shop for snacks. There were several bus stops close by and the tram was also close. The pool is small but the pool area has plenty of seating and is secluded. The bathroom had a shower and a large bathtub.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gran Derby. The staff are genuinely friendly and go above and beyond. Laura arranged restaurant reservations for me, and Ali somehow secured the Sagrada Família tickets when I couldn’t get them myself. He also shared tons of insider tips about Barcelona that practically mapped out my perfect itinerary. I’m very grateful. About the turndown service, finding a fresh rose by my bedside moved me deeply; I’ve been going through a difficult time, and that simple gesture meant so much to me. The hotel itself is excellent: the location is close to Sants Station, which is super convenient for trains. The neighbor is quiet, so I slept well every night. Interiors are stylish without trying too hard, with well-chosen art pieces that give the spaces character. I also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Montse, who checked in on my trip and kindly asked if I needed anything. That personal touch made me feel truly looked after. Overall, a seamless, comfortable stay with standout service. My family will be visiting Barcelona later this year, and I will recommend staying here without hesitation. Thank you to the whole team for making my visit so easy and memorable.
