Exuding the vibrant spirit of artist Antonio Gaudi, Le Méridien Barcelona has been recognized as “Monument” by the Barcelona Hotel Association due to its long historical heritage and contribution to the city’s history. When not exploring the city, you can hide away in a guest room or stunning top floor suite, whose sumptuous European luxury has attracted a wealth of luminaries, from Pavarotti to the Rolling Stones. As for dining, seeing and being seen, there is no better hotspot than Cent Onze.

I spent 5 days at this hotel as part of a company training session, and although I wasn’t staying overnight, I was on the property for around 8 hours each day. I was truly impressed by the hospitality — the staff was consistently amazing, polite, and always positive and helpful. Their professionalism made a great impression. The food provided during our sessions was also delicious and well-prepared. Overall, the atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended for both business and events!

This is a nice property in the heart of La Ramblas. We had a great stay here. The staff were excellent, the food in the restaurant was very good and the location is convenient. The whole area outside of the hotel is under construction and will be for the foreseeable future. I guess the city is updating the piping under the street and for as long as you could see the construction fencing was up. This did not prevent you from walking around but you did have to detour around certain areas. Our room was in excellent condition and housekeeping provided excellent service. The hotel had an extensive breakfast buffet and omelettes cooked to order. We had dinner in the restaurant on two evenings and our dishes were very tasty and filling. The bar served very good mixed drinks, wine and beer. Over all this is a great property with superb staff and we would highly recommend this property for your stay in Barcelona.

The hotel is overpriced and at best a 3 star rating. Rooms along with furniture were dated and most of the stuff was not functional in good ways. Dated carpets, beds, badly designed bathrooms/ shower/sinks. On my recent trip to Spain I stayed in 4 different hotels and this one was the worst and most overpriced. Not sure how this is categorized as 5 star. Have stayed at lot of Marriott hotels all over the world. Only good thing was staff was very courteous and location is quite central to Barcelona. Lobby is well decorated . You are right in middle of action.

I ended up at Le Meridien after leaving another hotel due to an unacceptable room. I was tired and really hoping I'd made a good choice with my second property. I couldn't have been happier with my choice. Upon arrival, I received the welcome I'm used to with a Marriott property. The front of house staff was very attentive and helpful. They gave me multiple bottles of water for my room and while I had to wait for my room to be ready to check in, the lobby was very comfortable with plenty of seating. Carlos assisted me with bringing my bags to my room and was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. I have a very sensitive nose and I wasn't crazy about the way the first room smelled, so I called to the front and they didn't hesitate to move me to another room. The next room was much better. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, there is complimentary water, coffee, and tea. They also left me some treats and a small bottle of champagne today after I returned from a day of walking around the town. The a/c works really well and I'm directly on La Rambla but with my white noise playing on my phone I didn't hear anything at all from the street. The bathroom is also very spacious. The bath tub has about a 2 ledge that you have to step into to get into the shower. If you have mobility issues you may want to book an accessible room. It's great to have a place to stay when I come to town in the future that I know is clean, close to everything, and staffed with an attentive and helpful staff. Every single person I've come into contact from house keeping to front of house has been so helpful and hospitable. Another person mentioned that this isn't a good area but I felt very safe here. Not sure what they're talking about.

Beautiful hotel and amazing staff...I just wish the location was different. La Rambla is not an attractive place to visit, and the hotel is right in the middle of it. The hotel staff was extremely helpful with our reservations and Bonvoy upgrades; they gave us an excellent dinner recommendation and worked hard to get us a last minute reservation. The buffet breakfast was great!
