Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

If you are seeking luxurious hotel accommodations in the heart of Barcelona and just blocks from Gaudi's Casa Batllo and view of his Sagrada Familia, look no further than the Hotel Majestic on Passeig de Gracia. This was our second time staying there (21 years gap) and this visit exceeded our expectations and prior experience. We had a 4th floor room with a balcony overlooking Passeig de Gracia, which was large, comfortable and extremely quiet. Large bathroom was a plus! Housekeeping service is phenomenal - the dark blue glass bottled water makes a great keepsake to take home when empty. We chose breakfast included which was an excellent choice. Be sure to book the Patio Room in the breakfast area for an extra special dining experience. The concierge booked to amazing restaurants for dinner both within walking distance from the hotel (L'Olive was our favorite). Views from the roof top bar area are breathtaking but be advised the pool is very small and the bar is very crowded so advance reservations are recommended.
