The One Barcelona

First time I stayed at the hotel The team is terrific and helpful plus cheerful Not often you see such “cheerful service” The bell boy Domain is very helpful Only negative is the housekeeping The room is not properly replenished - no laundry bag with laundry sheet, handcream not added, tissue box was empty. A bit strange.

This is by far ONE of the best hotels I’ve been staying at. The hotel staff is so warm so professional, they go above and beyond to make me feel like home. Can’t recommend enough to stay at The One

The One in Barcelona is a fantastic hotel. From the moment you arrive you are helped and greeted by friendly staff. The atmosphere is chill yet homey. The location is unbeatable (close to top attractions, high end stores and great restaurants). The rooms are fantastic (amazing features and super comfortable beds). The value is amazing with an included breakfast that is delicious and served with excellent service. Everything in the menu is delicious. The Mood restaurant on the top floor has great tapas, wine and top notch service. The hotel is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and quiet. I could go on and on but I will add that the BEST experience was provided by ISAAC on the concierge desk. He was the most professional, friendly and dedicated concierge ever. Isaac went above and beyond to get us tickets and tours, best restaurant recommendations and walking experiences with precise directions and insider tips. Isaac you are the best! Thank you The One Hotel in Barcelona for an overall great experience!!

Made us upgrade to a suite even though we had a child with us. Was kind of a poor move and we felt like they were just trying to get extra money out of us. A room is a room. Not sure why having a child makes it more expensive. Adults with kids beware.

Excellent luxury boutique hotel a short walk to the Gaudi houses, Sagrada Familia, and the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas. It is also an American Express Fine hotel, and the staff expedited cleaning of our room so it was ready at 10 am with an upgraded city view which was both appreciated. The front desk gave us tips on where to go for some breakfast and lunch while we waited. The room was impressive with the brown marble bathroom with a double sink and lots of luxurious amenities such as a loofah shower mit, dental and shaving kits, two bottles of water, Nespresso coffee maker, and a mini refrigerator. The closet functioned as a sliding door to block off the bathroom. The balcony had a half glass at the lower half which provided an unobstructed view. The housekeeping service with turndown service, new waters, and mints was a lovely touch. The Concierge was helpful finding us the Quickgold Barcelona money exchange (no exchange fee) which gave us an excellent exchange rate and small bills as requested. The rooftop bar/restaurant was elegant, delicious and provided a panoramic view of the city including the Sagrada Familia and Casa Mila. The wall blocked the view while you were sitting, but when you walked around, the view was stunning. I got the salmon and avocado tartar appetizer, and it was more than enough as an entree. There is also a rooftop infinity pool with nice lounge chairs. The pool in November was a bit too cool for us. Nicely equipped gym. We look forward to staying at The One Barcelona when we come back.
