Kyara is THE cocktail bar! Best daiquiri I’ve ever had and the margarita with cedarwood is fantastic, the taste it subtle but sublime. Food is also delicious and great to pair with the cocktails. Highly recommend the palamos prawns croquettes, so good!

This is a fantastic hotel and a truly luxurious experience in Barcelona. The attention to detail is outstanding, and everyone is genuinely committed to making your stay memorable. The entire team should be very proud of what they’ve accomplished since the recent opening. A tip for future guests: take advantage of the hotel bicycles to explore the city—it’s one of the best parts of the experience! Be sure to wander through every corner of the area, especially L’Anxova—amazing food and excellent service, specially Brian - he will be guiding you around the Catalonian food! . The L'Anxova entire staff there is exceptional. At the Coral Pool, look for Óscar—he’ll make your time there unforgettable. And if you need local guidance, the concierge team has the best recommendations!

Located next to an industrial area that includes what appears to be a wastewater treatment plant that stinks up the surroundings. For those visiting the beach, it's very close to the mouth of the Besòs River (no comment). Next to the La Mina neighborhood, where much of Barcelona's crime and drug trafficking originate. La Mina is the most troubled and dangerous neighborhood in the city. I didn't like the way I perceived the employees treated me. Money isn't what gives people value, especially if they're working. In my opinion, there are much better-located options in Barcelona with more competitive prices and quality.

FAN-TAS-TIC in one word! What an incredible hotel – I truly cannot name a single downside. From start to finish, everything was perfectly arranged. A huge standout is without a doubt the staff. From the valet team, to the restaurant crew, security, management, and the pool staff – absolutely amazing. A special shout-out to Amine and Omar from valet – you guys were fantastic (sorry I forgot the third name!). Huge thanks also to Emma, who helped guide us around Barcelona and arranged everything perfectly. Wafae from the pool staff was also great. And to the kindest man from security – I unfortunately forgot his name, but I remember he’s originally from Senegal – you’re a legend too! Apologies to anyone I forgot to mention – but honestly, every single team member deserves a huge compliment. The hotel itself is spotless. The rooms were excellent – not a single thing to complain about. Breakfast was extensive and fresh. The lobby is beautiful, and the pools are stunning. I can absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone. Don’t listen to the negative reviews – there is truly nothing to complain about right now. The shower in the room was heavenly, and even the reception staff were incredibly helpful. Would I recommend SLS Barcelona? ABSOLUTELY. You won’t regret staying here – I promise!

Let's cut to the chase.................this is a great property with a fantastic interior, great rooms and really good social areas. The slight issue is that it is still finding its feet in Barcelona and there is definitely plenty room to make this property one of the best 'Vibe' hotels in the city. The 1st Floor pool is lovely and has a nice Bar and lovely views. It seemed to attract families which was a little frustrating at times with kids in the pool but I guess they have to have fun too. Drinks were good, staff were trying their best to please but some of them struggled with English at times but they will improve with time. The food offering is a bit 'fussy' for me and my simple palate. The Rooftop Pool is the jewel in the SLS crown but it needs to have identity. It needs a DJ going up there and some 'vibey' staff to create a real social space in the hotel. I really hope they make this area Adults Only for obvious social reasons. The restaurants in the hotel (again) are quite niche and fussy and don't suit those with a more 'standard' preference in restaurants (Italian, steak, asian are nowhere to be seen). SLS Barcelona would really benefit from something like a STK Steakhouse franchise to attract more in house guests and those from across the city. Overall, we had a great couple of night sin the hotel and were cognisant that they are still finding their feet. I have no doubt whatsoever that SLS Barcelona will become a brilliant hotel in the coming months but..................for now just enjoy it now that everything is open and it isn't crazy busy. Watch this space!
