What a nice hotel. I've been to too many expensive hotels with tired rooms, arrogant staff and penny pinching policies, the Royal Crescent was a breath of fresh air. Standard room was big enough, in excellent condition (a VERY old building don't forget) and with quality bathroom and fittings. Consumables all quality and properly refreshed each day. Staff were excellent; helpful, never kept us waiting for anything and definitely no jobsworths. Nice balance of friendly and efficient. Whoever sets the demeanour of the place is doing an excellent job. Breakfast has limited (but enough) choice but excellent quality. Our package included the tasting menu as a highlight of our stay. Well done as you'd expect but included a couple of courses that were Bovril-centric and hard to like for us. I'd suggest you skip the cheese course unless you have a large capacity! Certainly not top of the value for money list but if you do spend the money you get the quality experience you should be able to expect. An excellent place for a special occasion. Other so-called top hotels should come here and learn.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Royal Crescent, the staff made us feel like newlyweds. Everyone was charming, attentive and earnest. The facilities were topnotch, the room upgrade to room 5 was most appreciated - a two room suite that felt like home. Thank you for a wonderful Bath stay.

Luxurious Hotel. We enjoyed every aspect and always felt pampered. The food was wonderful and many choices at breakfast.

We have stayed here a few times now and this hotel never disappoints! The staff are all amazing and cant do enough for you . The hotel and grounds are beautiful, can’t wait to go back soon . We also had afternoon tea which was delicious a real treat! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bath this hotel is 5 *****

We’ve been lucky to have a table for 6 with good friends on a Saturday evening in Bath at this incredible place for the relaxe menu restaurant. Food was really nice. However service let us down. No need to expand on this as we provided the establishement with our constructive feedback. The service charge of 12.5% was removed from our bill. If Royal crescent have premium prices then the service must be impeccable. Others cheaper are catching up like the Francis hotel in front of Queen Square after their intensive refurbishment.
