A beautiful hotel with the most helpful and friendly staff I have probably ever come across in a hotel. This was a company visit and we had a private dining room for dinner. The dinner was superb as was breakfast the following morning. We had a variety of rooms throughout the hotel which were of a very high standard - very comfortable and well equipped. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary at the Royal Crescent, Bath. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The bar and restaurant are superb. The spa and gym are excellent. We had a Mansion room (in the main house) which was lovely.

The Royal Crescent cannot be beaten for a combination of ambience, service and atmosphere. It combines beautiful surroundings with luxurious accommodation and truly friendly and accommodating staff. A special mention on this trip must be Ethan, in the bar, who was attentive, warm and friendly and made the visit entirely worthwhile.

A very special occasion, expected luxury for the price paid and was disappointed. Perhaps I should have read the 1☆ and 2☆ reviews in advance! I didn't expect a view over the Crescent for the price paid. I didn't expect a wall and view into a different bedroom either. I didn't expect lights outside our door to be switched on at 4am or 5.30am or doors being banged. Particularly as the adjacent room was unoccupied as it was being refurbished. I also didn't expect an air conditioning/heat source pump unit to switch on and off, constantly, all night. I didn't expect one sachet of coffee to make in a cafetiere, with long life milk, to be shared by both of us upon waking. After complaining a decent coffee was delivered to the room. We have been offered an upgrade on our next visit. Sadly my husband has had his birthday, so it's too late. We did get a free cup of tea each. One good thing. Flavio in the restaurant was brilliant. Checked we were ok regularly, brought us everything we needed and made us laugh as well. A positive memory of our visit.

I come here a lot for tea and coffee at Montague Mews as I live locally and it's a lovely place to bring family and meet friends. The service from the very courteous staff is always great, as is the tea, coffee and biscuits. The ambience is also very relaxing. Plus, it is very pet friendly and my golden retriever loves it!
