Conrad Beijing

We had a great stay at the Conrad Beijing during our family trip to China. We checked in swiftly and were presented with little bears gifts that were much appreciated, specially by the kids. We got upgraded rooms wind we were diamonds, they were spacious, but the beds were on the small size and a too firm for my personal taste. The bath was big, but some of the tiles were dirty and one of the bath faucets was failing. Breakfast was very good, nice variety, good taste, only bad side is that the menu was repetitive during our 4 day stay. Not too many changes. But the best part was the service, very good. It wouldn’t hurt that the staff at the restaurant had better English skills, at the check in they had very good skills, but at the restaurant so so. The other downside we had is that the hotel charged us for the breakfast/executive lounge fo the 2 kids , something never happened in other Hilton properties during our holiday travels, same kind of room, same amount of guests. The gym is very complete with Technogym equipment which they are the best. The executive lounge was big, and food tasty but repetitive. In summary it was a great stay and would recommend you consider this property. But I can’t give them 5 stars because of the issues encountered

I had a very pleasant two-night stay at Conrad Beijing. The level of hospitality was excellent, marked by professionalism, warm welcoming attitudes, and consistently friendly service throughout the hotel. I would like to extend my special appreciation to Ms. Amal Khalil for her outstanding professionalism, dedication, and elegant conduct. Her commitment to her role and the high standards she represents were evident in all interactions and greatly enhanced my overall experience. We stayed for 3 nights for an extended weekend, eating our way through the city. Besides being reasonably-priced, the location was also very convenient as it's close to Sanlitun, and we ened up walking to two of the restaurants we were dining at. As anyone familiar with Beijing traffic knows, any time you can avoid getting into a car or taxi is a win. The hotel isn't as new as some other big international brands, but the room was very spacious. There's a nice walk-in closet right inside the door, with a reasonably-sized built-in luggage rack. The work desk was also just inside the door opposite the closet. The bathroom was also very spacious, with a bath tub by the window. The familiar Conrad rubber duckie brought a smile to my face. The shower had a good design for proper drainage, but it's clear that the block in the center has been worn down so that water now gathers in the middle. The adjustable shower design needs to be pointed in the right direction, or else water can come through the shower door and really soak up the mat just outside. Double vanities are nice. It's nice to see some newer touches such as USB-C outlets next to the bedside, along with an alarm clock with an integrated Qi charging port. The big let down was the hotel Wifi. It kept cutting out and we would have to re-connect manually from our devices. Overall this was a very nice stay for us. We didn't use the facilities much, but it was a comfortable refuge for a few days. We would look to come back.

Loved staying here - great beds + pillow menu with an amazing view + great shower quality. Especially the SPA is amazing - one of the best massages of my life (i chose the lymphatic massage). The pool and gym are also amazing.

We were pleased with several aspects of our stay, especially the early check-in around 9:30 AM, which was very helpful. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the valet team for assisting with our luggage — the team was attentive and supportive. The hotel kindly arranged for bed decoration with petals to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and we truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture. We also received a small gift for our son’s birthday, which made the stay more special for our family. As a Diamond member, I usually look forward to a warm welcome gesture such as a fruit basket, a welcome note, or a Conrad bear. I understand that the early check-in might have made this more challenging, but it would have been a lovely touch. However, we did notice that the carpet and tiles made stains quite visible around the room, particularly in the shower area and around the doors. This was a bit unexpected for a luxury brand and slightly affected the overall impression of the room. Overall, we appreciated the efforts made by the team, especially for the birthday celebrations, and hope these small improvements can enhance the guest experience even further.
