Amazing experience. Amazing hotel and facilities but what really stands out are the staff. All are great but need to name check a few for going above and beyond in keeping us so happy. Firstly Leo- assistant manager, front office- spent a long time one evening finding a piece of art that the hotel had used in a photo shoot that day that my husband fell in love with and I wanted to purchase it for him for his birthday. Not only did Leo get agreement from the Peninsula to sell the piece but he had to find it as it had been packed away in storage but he found it. What a superstar! The concierge desk is outstanding, Kurt was great and the King of concierge’s is Mr Ferguson. Great restaurant recommendations and then organised for us to borrow some bikes from the hotel. This seems to be a new offer from the Peninsula as the bikes needed all sorts of nuts and bolts tightening up to make them suitable for us. All of which Fergus and his team took in their stride and achieved with no fuss but plenty of use of spanners! What a great service and we had a great bike ride with so many admiring looks at the bikes. Do use this facility. Absolutely outstanding stay. Thank you good people of the Peninsula Beijing.

The Peninsula Beijing is arguably one of the best hotels I have experienced in a while! The service by the restaurant staffs were phenomenal – in particular Lucas, Elaine and Cayne. Lucas – in particular – went above and beyond every morning asking us whether we enjoyed our breakfast, where we planned on visiting and recommended some sights when our ideas ran dry. Lucas made us feel like family and we were glad to see him every morning. Elaine and Cayne were also most helpful accommodating our requests and tried to make our breakfast experience most enjoyable. The spread of breakfast was also vast enough and the dishes on the a-la-carte breakfast menu were some of the best I’ve seen in breakfast buffets. The housekeeping staff’s attention to details were also unfathomably good – even for a hotel this caliber. The housekeeping staff somehow managed to ensure that our room looked exactly like what it looked like on the first day when we checked-in and made sure that our stay was a comfortable one. The rooms were also extremely clean and we it’s honestly unthinkable how we couldn’t even find a speck of dust in a city known for its air pollution! I would also like to commend, in particular, whoever was on the general hotline on 3rd July 10pm – who somehow managed to find my Airpods that I have lost somewhere in the hotel that morning. I was very surprised that they somehow managed to deliver my Airpods to my room 15 minutes after I called – I’m sure I would’ve lost it for good had it been other hotels! The pool – must I say – is also worth a mention! The pool’s water quality was amazing and extremely soft on my skin. I’ve swam in many 5 star hotel pools, and, honestly, this is one of the best I’ve swam in. The lifeguards and pool support staff were also very attentive and made sure everyone had a safe and pleasant experience. What really surprised me though was that the 5 star service continued after checkout. After checkout, Ludi came over to help us with our carry-ons and even got us water when we’re waiting outside for the taxi! That’s amazing service that you no longer see in most hotels nowadays. If there’s one thing the Peninsula Beijing can improve on, it’s the check-in experience and concierge. We were, unfortunately, not led to our rooms or shown where the lifts are … The concierge also didn’t have spare maps! While these slight issues didn’t impede our experience significantly, it surely wasn’t a good first impression and didn’t match the caliber of service they provided later during the stay. Having stayed in other Peninsula hotels and other 5 star hotels, Peninsula Beijing definitely stands out among the pile. While there’s still very small details they can improve on, the entire experience was very enjoyable, extremely relaxing and pleasant. Hats off to Peninsula Beijing!

The Peninsula Hotel Beijing is a truly exceptional hotel experience. The warm welcome, the luxurious suite, the stunning hotel, and the extraordinary personalised service. However, what truly stood out to me was the outstanding level of customer service and gracefulness from every member of the team. Ludi Zi is the lady who took care of us during our stay with genuine care and kindness. Ludi’s attention to detail and warm hospitality elevated our entire experience—nothing was ever too much trouble, and every request was met with a smile and swift response. She is a true asset to The Peninsula team. The Peninsula Beijing consists of suites only and each suite is designed to perfection. Each suite is spacious with modern luxury and timeless Chinese artistry, high tech features and marble bathroom. The gentle but consistent hum of Beijing can be seen from the suite windows and the city night light brings out the beauty of the city. The Peninsula Beijing will exceed every expectation and it is a hotel I would return to, time and again.

We stayed at The Peninsula Beijing recently and were genuinely impressed on almost every level. First off, the staff’s English skills are far above any other hotel we experienced in China. Every question or request was understood right away—no confusion, no awkward moments. It made everything feel smooth and welcoming. The internet deserves special mention: it’s high quality, fast, and offers near full access without the frustrating restrictions you often run into elsewhere. If you rely on staying connected, this is a big plus. Our room was huge, spotlessly clean, and packed with high-tech touches that actually worked. Lighting, curtains, and entertainment were all easy to control. We genuinely enjoyed spending time there. Don’t miss the rooftop bar. It’s top notch—great views, excellent cocktails, and a relaxed vibe that feels exclusive without being pretentious. Only the breakfast was a little inconsistent. The selection feels a bit scattered—so many options, but not always clearly organized. That said, the quality of the food itself was excellent. Overall, The Peninsula Beijing is a fantastic choice if you want comfort, service, and a truly international standard of hospitality right in the heart of Beijing.

Exceptional staff in a really excellent hotel. The building itself is a bit old but the rooms are well refurbished with a feeling of discrete luxury. Great gym, superb spa and absolutely brilliant staff all round.
