Stayed here for 3 nights for work. In short the hotel could use some updates but the biggest problem is its WARM. Like very warm. You cannot control the temp in your room and it’s warm and gets warmer at night as it shuts off. I had to call each day to get them to lower the temp and each day they would lower it by 1 degree, but then at night it would climb back up. Even the lobby is warm and the gym is also extremely warm. No one wants to be extra hot working out! All my coworkers complained about it and it ruined what would otherwise be a decent stay. The other issue is in my room I could not get the bathtub to drain or the rain shower to work. Little things like this show it didn’t love up to RC standards. But the breakfast was very good, the gym full of equipment and well appointed and the common areas very nice.

We had challenges booking DD transport. Jeremy Feng was extremely helpful. Not only did attempt to resolve the apps issue on my phone. When it did not work, he helped us to book a car using the apps on his phone. We greatly appreciated his help and true “excellent guest service” Joevana at the Executive Lounge was attentive and helpful, always checking on our needs and comfortable. An excellent hospitality service staff. Ritz Carlton Beijing Financial Street will always be my preferred choice when visiting Beijing. Well done guys!

I stayed here for a number of weeks in January 2024. The entire hotel is starting to feel a bit old and in disrepair. Not worth very high prices. The rooms are dark, the air system doesn't work well, wallpaper starting to peel, stains in the bathroom. The lobby was freezing and I could not sit there most of the time I stayed. One bright spot is that the hotel staff are attentive and try their best.

We decided to travel this spring festival to Beijing and selected this hotel due to the positive feedback on social media and recommendation from friends. The hotel is located nearby Tiananmen square and easy to get around by didi. The room was very spacious and the check in procedure went smooth as we arrived after midnight. The service and food quality in the club lounge and in the all day dining was outstanding. We enjoyed the daily specials that was served on rotation during our 5 day trip such as the Beijing Duck. The beverage and food selection in the lounge had all offerings and the staff was helpful to offer any further assistance. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is really worth a try, they have been recognized by Michelin Guide for 5 consecutive years and the manager Lily was very friendly and going the extra mile to offer specials outside their menu such as hot and sour soup which was delicious! The hotel has been well managed and that’s exactly what I have experienced during my stay. Look forward to visit the Ritz Carlton Beijing financial street on my next visit!

Stayed here only because of the location at financial district. The hotel is only a part of the large mixed use development for the financial district. Next door has a high end mall. The hotel itself looks a bit tired but managed to maintain good standard. The room is clean; typical RC style deco with a bit local characters The mattress feels a bit old. Had breakfast and dinner there. Breakfast’s selection was adequate but nothing wows you. Restaurant’s food offering and service are OK. The hotel bar shuts at 11PM which is a bit early for international travellers want to unwind after long day’s meeting. Additional points to the front desk people. All of them have been friendly and efficient. However, it’s not the most memorable RC hotel I have stayed. It’s a hotel for business travellers who visit the financial district.
